What's your favourite food? one of two things I'm sure you've never heard of. Vereniches and Chilch-chaka-a-chaka (or chilcha for short). My family isn't even sure if thats the perfect spelling, but thats the one we've agreed on I believe. Both are very old German family recipes my family has never found anyone else knowing about or ever hearing about. However, we know they're German, but maybe they were still a secret family recipe over there as well when my family immigrated to the USA many generations ago? who knows. All I know is I love it.
