@The Op,you know what?This has gone far enough,allow me to kindly correct you so that we can bury the myth that shadow arts is overpowered once and for all. I have shadow arts trained all the way to 10 and why is that?To compliment my defense of course.My bounty now has a defensive setup that has granted me more fun in epicduel than iv'e had up until this point.Iv'e had some great matches against people with bunnyzookas and founder items,sometimes i lost by 2 hp and sometimes won by 2hp.It's great fun and a healthy challenge. Now allow me to teach you what overpowered is in epicduel,since most people here are either misinformed or just want a reason to complain. Shadow arts ad 10% chance for a block and a stun.This is almost identical to how mercs have hybrid armor,bar the stun part. So what is overpowered in epicduel?These tank mercs with super high dex tech and also monster support.They usually have a very strong aux and then they have buster bunker waiting for you with their 90tech or something to back that up. Things wrong here already: 1.Bunker buster can NEVER miss. 2.Can NEVER be deflected 3.Has a 25% crit chance and with their high support can you guess what happens most the time? Compare that to shadow arts and tell me what's wrong here?It's a joke really,am i the only one seeing this?Allow me to take you to mages so you'll understand even better. Ever been up against those mages that have super high dex to begin with and when you nerf them their defensive matrix is waiting for you and normally they back that up with 80+support? Along with malf and deadly aim,they're unstoppable.Even if you debuff the're absorbing physical hits like sunshine.Since mages naturally have high tech anyway,where does this leave you? Bounties have to pay mp for dex boosts and resistance boosts.Mercs get that for free,mages have a single skill that they can abuse to their liking,that defensive matrix. What do bounties have,str builds?Please man,to me that's not a smart build at all.I kill them almost as easily as i kill str mercs.Shadow arts is nothing but a small gift to us,nothing overpowered.Atm i have 3 smoke which allows me to lower enemy dex by 28 and that obviously means that shadow arts will assist me. But do you see the pattern here?Bounties have to plan or die.Mercs can just spam their usual combo and their steel defense will hold long enough for their rage and aux+bunker combo.That coupled with the fact that it's +5 focus.This thread honestly makes no sense. Shadow arts can stay,it's not really hurting anyone except for those with overactive imagination,it's only 10% extra chance not 50%. BUNKER BUSTER NEEDS TO GO.Hope you got that.Maybe i get through to people here,hope i did.And one last thing,what do you mean by ''TRUE'' bounties. I chose a bounty for a challenge before shadow arts was ever implemented,mercs and their overpowered abilities started to bore me more and more.I started this character of mine about a month or 2 before shadow arts and had to endure all the unfair matches against mercs. Now that we have 1 skill they can help us get lucky against clearly overpowered builds you wish for it to go away?You need to rethink a bit,just a little...
