I am sick of being stunned by people who went first with twice less support . Balance the game and remove the chance of being stunned on the 1st turn . Or at least we should be able to block while stunned . No one deserves to be 2-turned . That defeats the purpose of builds if you can be killed without having a turn .

You right , but the problem isnt Stun , the problem is they make stun with 30 support and +130 str , put Maul Tech or support req so Mercs cant use it with STR abuse build.

stun at min has like 12% chance so if you get hit with stun 10 times you will be stunned at least once

Well,Atleast we can say is mercs need to get their builds nerfed like bounty's and mage's have had done in the past so yeah id pritty much like that idea and maybe put more req on a diff ability.

You're obviously talking about strength mercs. I have never seen an overpowered stun bounty hunter or tech mage.

I think maul should have a chargeup of 1. That alone would balance strength mercinaries, and it would be fair. Every player would have a chance to defend himself before being hit by insane amounts of damage. I mean seriously, have you seen their damage outputs? Even with 27-33 defense they can still hit 40+ on stun and 55+ on berzerker. Even with shadow arts I still instantly lose occasionally without one chance to move. Since I have a carefully perpared build I don't think its fair to die without a chance to make one move. All we have to do to fix this problem is add the 1 chargeup to mercinary stun. Either that or pointlessly throw some tech requirement on max Maul that they could eventually work around. That sounds more like our staff.
Might I add, strength bounty hunters have been obliterated, why are mercs still allowed to throw millions of points into strength? Well we can let em, all we have to do is add 1 chargeup to their stun.

Since the nerf on rage ,mercs have been dominating the field . That's just how the merc class is constructed . Uber tank ability . Those insane stuns ...... that's just ... sad ?! As i said , there is no fairness in being 2 turned by luck alone . I know that this kind of build requires crazy luck to keep up a good winning % but ......2 turns regardless of your build .....that's just. .... not fair.

The problem ?! There should not be a god-mode build . There should not be a 1 hit KO button . And for mercs ,there is one . There's the problem [;)]

If you don't like it become a merc then train to be a str merc

I don't want to . I want balance . I want a fair game for everyone . I don't want to be a merc . If you're a merc (you probably are) you should not look at things subjectively . Try playing on an alternative account against str mercs and see how you feel.

@Giras So you probably haven't seem my level ten stun grenade build ;P

@OP I agree strength mercs are annoying, so I always make a counter into my builds for them (minimum of 80 dex and always using SmokeScreen). If you have trouble imagine anyone facing a *coughs*fake*coughs* BH that abuses strength. Just try until you win more then they do ;)

I do like rivalry. (Espacially with Crovile V2 but I won't get into that) I'm always looking up to a challenge. That's why a switched to TM after the "great nerf" and even now and still finding myself prosper! Even as I am a BH, I use a traditional support build with only a level 3 SA to counter str mercs/BHs (by blocking). So I don't really mind any challenge, no, I like them.

Tbh it takes nothing to beat a stre merc and stun dosnt work 24/7 like u think it does i never stun anybody and i use a 6 stun so either raise ur defences or stop complaining about the stre mercs who dont win everytime and loss more then other people

@beastmo I think the problem is that they don't know they problems str mercs/BHs face when fighting. I bet If they knew a str merc gets unlucky (by being one) then they would understand. :P

yea im a level 30 mages and considering mages dont have the most prolific blocks and am quite easily beaten by str mercs. they stun me and bezerk im 2 hit KO and i dont even get a hit. ive only ever beaten 1 str merc.
merc stun must be nerfed

I dissagree. My higher support makes me go 1st 2 out of 3 times so I defense matrix and they're dead. A trick to killing them
if you are struggling is to get more hp,( +100)

mercs' stuns r quite devastating but just like od said, if u go first (which is quite often) u should be able to DM and malfunction for a quick win

however if u don't go first, but they don't stun, you should be able to win still, just shield and tank it out, if u can't win in this instance then get higher hp/def

so all-in-all, the chances of them going first AND stunning is quite low and if it happens to you, it's just like being critted on 3 times by a sup merc or blocked 4 times by a dex BH

lol i do have 100hp and i have total of 62 dex and 20 - 24 +2 +1 def and i can still be 2 hit KO

^62 dex is way too low, as a mage I use a 81 dex, 130 hp staff build (so I can whither down mp to stop berserkers/massacres)

unless ur a non var, then I guess just pray that you go first [;)] or u can try a tank build (they r good despite how people think their weak) high dex+ (preferably) a staff and u can make use of overload and build urself some stunning power too (however do NOT stun with ur shield on and with smokescreen, the ending will be a catastrohpe)

I do like the idea of a 1 turn warm up for stun skills, so at least you can prepare.

ye i am a non mem so tanks dont usually work due to the poor stat modifiers of non varium weps

^ah ok, well at least get 63 dex (63 dex = more phys. def)

also non var weps have decent stat (the staff from caden gives 10 dex/tech with a slight downside of -5 str and of course there's frozen horror staff) and swords like maple cleaver r very good too, but I think you should get a high level physical armor (seraph pm), ur res. might be lacking a bit as a result of phys. armors r quite popular and by the looks of some people's builds their quite good too
