Hi...

So...

What happened to diversity?

I've been on 3 days this week and fought 21 battles.

First, I've seen mainly bounties.

Second these new armours look odd? Mage armour should look different than Mercenary armour just my opinion?

Third everyone seems to be using THE SAME BUILDS

Oh well.

Just wondering if anyone else had problems with the new ED

The "new" ED is predictable and boring, and for the new armors they just got lazy and didn't feel like making a merc/BH/Mage or even a female version of the armors...

Its getting incredibly repetitive, because you vs the same builds for each class every fight
Mercs = Bot / Str / Support
Bhs = Str / Bot
Mages = ?

Thats what i'm not liking, but hopefully quests will bring us out of this circle

I know it still needs more tweaking but it's still fun.

My build is unique. Which other mage uses 152 hp?

We need to try new things instead of copying other builds.

I'm beginning to see a little diversity right now. Not everyone has a strength build so its good to see EpicDuel evolve outta that phase. In the near future I hope to see everyone with unique builds that are fun to play against and take strategy to beat.

this is wat i see in 1v1.

mercs: 5 focus bot, tech tank(uber high tech and defenses and 3-5 focus),str and support
Bh:str,support,and stupid build( u know wat is a stupid build if u dont look at the builds section)
mage: 4 focus,5 focus,support and random unknown.

for 2v2.

Mercs: same as1v1 but instead of more str mercs there are more support mercs.
Bh;same as 1v1 but support and stupid builds are more common and uber dex bounty(bounty wif beta having fun joy and laughter)
mage:support, str mages(wif max asim), casters and 4 focus.

well there not much build for every1 to use because of focus and agility. these thing prohibits us from using a a weird and original build.

The funny thing is I'm getting used to people having the same builds. I just use the same strategy against them to win. [:D]

I know lots of people are calling mercenary 5 focus tank builds "bot" builds, but if you are using assault bot, which can only be used once every 4 turns, is it still a bot build?
My tank build is incredibly useful without gamma bot. In fact, my main focuses on this build are heal and stun. But Im either seeing Bounties with 88 strength, mages with 80+ supp, or mercs with i dont even know what support.
The main problem is Support, should it actually change auxiliary power?

I think alot of the similar builds are due to other options having major issues.

MERCS: if you try a build around maul, berzerker and other primary weapon attacks you get blocked at really annoying times
in nearly every fight, that hardly fills you with confidence each time you run up to hit your enemy. and bunker buster is so OP.

BHS: Massacre isnt that expensive when you consider the big skills other classes have, but a 3 turn warmup is excessive.
you basically have to stall as many turns as you can before you finally get to massacre, seems very unfair and is definitely
gimping massacre builds. Never tried poison builds but ive seen a few and it seems a very slow way to apply damage and a
multi build is plain embarrassing. you have to buff your dex first b4 you can use a multi that rarely does more than 50% hp
