Troublemakers! Location: Alamonia Saloon -> Amalthea -> Troublemakers! Objective: Complete any games to increase your rank. Requirements: None Release Date: - Enemies: None NPCs: Amalthea Dialogue: Amalthea: What game would you like to play? War and Blackjack Amalthea: Are you ready? Rules (War) Amalthea: The rules are very simple. The cards are shuffled into 2 decks each turn. Amalthea: Both players draw the cards off the top of their deck and lie them down face up. Amalthea: The player with the highest card value will win the round. Aces are counted as the highest card. Amalthea: If the cards match, the players will draw another card until someone wins the match. Amalthea: Once you win that one match, the decks will be shuffled again. Amalthea: Best 4 out of 7 matches will win the game. Amalthea: We know it's a little different but this way the game won't last an eternity. Good luck! Rules (Blackjack) Amalthea: Blackjack is a little complicated... I should also point out that you are required to bet money. Amalthea: The minimum bet is 50 credits. The maximum bet is 5000 credits. Amalthea: If you win the game, you will get double your bet back. Amalthea: On your first turn, you will have a chance to Hit, Stand, or Double. Amalthea: If you choose Double, you can double your bet for a chance to get 4 times your original bet. Amalthea: For instance, if you bet 5000, then double, you will actually be betting 10,000. Amalthea: Winning will give you 20,000 credits but losing will cost you the initial 10,000. Be careful. Amalthea: The downside to this is that you must win by drawing one more card. The extra card is mandatory. Amalthea: Stand means that you are confident in your cards and believe you will beat the dealer. Amalthea: Hit will draw another card to increase the total value of your cards. Amalthea: How do you win? You must get your card total to be as close to 21 as possible without going over. Amalthea: You also must beat the dealer as they will try to get closer to 21 than you. Amalthea: If the dealer wins, you lose. If you tie, it ends in a draw and no one is in trouble. Amalthea: The dealer will not hit again if his total is 17 or higher. Amalthea: Aces count as 11 points but if it brings the total above 21, it will then change to a 1 to keep you in the game. Amalthea: 10, Jack, Queen and King all count as 10 points. Amalthea: If your first cards are an Ace and a 10 card, Stand and you will win with a Blackjack unless it's a draw. Amalthea: Stay below 21 but get as close as possible. 21 is the best score. If you tie it's a draw. Amalthea: The decks are shuffled after every hand so counting cards won't help you. Amalthea: You can play up to 10 times in one sitting. It sounds complicated but you'll catch on. Amalthea: Good luck! Rewards Shop: None
