Raiga -> What keeps you guys willing to buy varium? (3/18/2011 19:41:54)

Just a question I wish to ask everyone here. Personally, after seeing how much money I spent and offers I did just for this game, I just decided it wasn't really worth it to keep buying varium. Slightly more powerful equipment just comes out in a month or so, and it's another 900+ (for enhancements) varium spent.

What are your opinions on this?

the same reason u jsut gave slightly better equipment, but u dont always have to buy the weapon with 1 more stat or 1 damage its all about the build, its new builds that make me buy new varium

I buy Varium just because of the Promo items.

I don't buy it anymore. I used to, back in early Beta, though. (I have the Treasure Hunter achievement.) This game is too expensive to keep up with. And it's not that I can't afford it---it's more of a silent way of voicing my disapproval toward the way the developers continue to mismanage ED.

They're psychologically pushing you to buy varium. The new button you see right after every lose is just another way to push you to buy varium. Also the loses stick in your permanent record, so that pretty much sucks.

Just wish varium sellbacks would be more closely considered.
NightWraith stated they wouldn't do it because of the people who missed out on getting varium back before it would be implemented, well personally I would rather start getting varium back now than never.

Nothing much anymore. Varium sellback=less money for them
If their plan was to make me amass tons of gear that becomes
obsolete faster than an ice cube melts in Hell,and then make me
buy more space to keep it all,bummer.

Its addiction to the game or fame :/ you have to buy varium once in a month at least if you wanna be good. Like 2046808 wasted to much varium 500k+ varnuim.......

I buy it for the gear. I've never spent varium or credits on hoverbike or either of the robots. I just get varium to buy new weapons to make builds for myself. Good thing I'm a founder so I neverh ave to spend money on armours, though.

Yea i try not to waste mine either, the only things ive wasted it on is a Class change, 10 item spots, and enhancements. But in the end they have done more help then harm.

i would buy varium just to get a decent match with varium players. unfortunately i spend all my money on AQW and waste thousands of tokens to get the robot and still to succeed
