This is just an idea :)

Should Sidearm & Auxiliary have Special effects? like +2 critical% or +2% bonus chance to connect on regular strikes ^^
What do you guys think?

its just an idea..
And why not I mean Armours in real life Don't have a like, more critical or connect effects..
and plus its a game and I just think it would be helpful with those little bits of advantages ^^;
Even if its only +2 or even +1 :)

@evric... but swords, staffs, mauls and dualblades do have special effects in RL????
its a games it doesnt have to be like RL

Maybe more connects but not crit or deflect percents, we don't want more luck running around in the system of the game now do we?

Yeah True :)
But then it kinda wont be called luck any more since you actually have the proof on why you critical or block so much ^^;

That will abuse luck factor which most ppl dont want it , if admins give special effect to every wep than The builds will be no important luck will decide the winner.

Im against that class specific weps has special effects too
Celtic cleaver has %7 connect (nice) but class specifics also give %2

Swords and class specifics almost have same stat modifers
Well Mages and Bhs cant use their most of the skills when they use sword what they will get? %5 more connect only :S , in old days Frostbane has the Most stat modifiers which is the meaning of using sword but now most ppl use their class specific because they are same.

Maybe like 5% less likely to get deflected with that certain weapon.

Reducing luck = good
More luck chance = bad

Gun with -2% deflect chance = good
Gun with +2% crit chance = bad

Do you think people walk around all day with swords/staves/wrist blades/maces and guns and auxs all day, go into battle and kill each other but then magically respawn just to fight someone else? You can't seriously use real life as a factor in this.

I agree with Shocka. There should only be bonuses to stop luck effecting you, but not bonuses to increase your luck.

They can add these BUT not now. There are already powerful people here nowadays and that would mean buffing up the people you know that aer overpowered.

Ugh luck ruins this game nothing we can do can change it we been complaing for over 2 years no change yet it aint gonna happen the luck is just gonna rule this game so what if all weapons have coo luck effects?Oh well this game is ruled by luck anyway.

No. Its kind of cute to see these little boost for primaries. However, if they get it into their head to add these boosts to other equipment, It will become a SERIOUS balance issue.
Picture for a moment a support merc with a +5% crit aux, +5% crit sidearm, and +5% crit primary. Do you like what you see?
Unfortunately Titan will probably do it anyway, much like adding enhancement slots to armors. *sigh*

Well maybe it don't have to have to be on auxiliary or guns..
Titan could have like a critical booster and block booster that could last at least 2 or 3 turns, just like health booster ^^;

Oh good and when using block booster you suddenly realise your opponent can still do gun or zooka at the last second.

like, why not? It's FUN, Fun > balance, I know I complain a lot about balance but fun is more important
