I got an idea, and hope people would support.

How would you like it if you could put some money into savings, like varium and credits, or even have a loan from the bank of 5.000 credits and you'd pay it off later? Won't that be sweet?!

I have been trying to save up for Charfade's Bike. I could use 2 ways of getting the bike, Savings or Loan. Lets say i have 10.000 credits right now.. and in my savings I have 3.000, I could simply take out my savings and ask for a loan of 5.000 and be able to buy the bike! =D

Agreed or Disagreed?

Thats a good point but a bad point that some players would denied to pay back what they loan you understand me>?

Are you thinking of like loan between others or bank, because the whole discussion is about a bank and loans between others would not occur.

this would be very good for 2 reasons.
1:would stop me spending all my money so i know i cant spend it because its in a bank
2:saves inventory space and doesnt push me to selling somthing i might regret later.

Loaning is a great idea. It takes after are system in real life. The problem is when you borrow money from the bank you must pay it back, thus the ED team would have to have some sort of system where you are forced to pay it back or you would not be able to purchase an item after a certain time or something.

i have a nice idea :) u get the item in ure inventory but it gets a (LOCKED) on it untill u pay it and if after 1month u dont pay u lose it and what u have payed of it :)

This is a great idea (especially for rare collectors) but I also think this ruins ideas of "limited rares" because everon can just get on and get a "loan"

Loaning wouldn't work in ED. It's like trading, and some people will refuse to pay it back, but you cant warn or ban them for that because technically they didn't do anything wrong.

A bank would be nice.

I agree with Practel.
Banking is a little too early in this stage of the game, we don't have tons of weapons to buy as of now, and we have inventory spaces that you can buy.
Loaning sounds a little too much like runescape. Also trading [:D][:D][:D]

I don't know . Huge coding required, + it can fail. Even with the Win-a-battle-pay-your-loan system, people could just create another account.

What they should do, is when you have taken out a loan, a certain percentage of your winnings from battles (100, 50, or 25) will immediately forwarded to pay it back off, and you cannot take out another loan until you are done paying off the loan.
Also, You'd need a max amount you can loan, like 15k credits or something.

that seems like a better idea.
discount the credits from the battles u done until its paid off.
and until u paid ur loan off u cant get another.
that would be nice.

and since this system works. it can also be used for tokens.
a token loan.

If you don't pay it off they arrest you in real life.
And they won't suspend your account in this game. So im afraid because its kinda impossible ille have to not suport.

credits will be subtracted from battles
meaning u loan 5k credits
the next 5k creds worth of battle u dont get those creds because its paying off the loan.
this can also work with tokens where if u borrow tokens u wont get anymore tokens from battle until u did enough battles to pay it off.

also they cant arrest u for ingame currency.
if it were varium thats a whole diff story.

I support the banking system. To make it safe, you will need a password to open it so no one gets the good stuff in it just like runescape in case some hacker hacks your account and only finds noob weapons in it :3 but loans and trading....I don't like that.

Wow nice ideas guys! For those who don't support for other reasons, i'm pretty sure the dev's will figure something out.. i mean they figured out how to boost ppl with laggy computers by adding the "Battle Animations Booster"..

good idea, but on top of that, why not add a feature where you can dump items you own into it, so at the end of the day even if you do get your account haxed, you at least dont have to worry about your items in the bank, all they can do is waste your money

I support this idea entirely, as if you dont duel to pay back your loan, your essentially not playing the game, and therefore there is no loss. Its not as if the bank loses anything by loaning credits. Though im not sure if the banking system is really needed for varium, as you cannot buy most items without credits, so just putting credits in the bank means that you cannot be tempted to waste your 100k on 200 stat retrains :)

My banking idea:
Savings:at least with credits, when you deposit it, it would earn interest. At what times and what rates would be decided, but you would earn credits. A general account that gets no interest and savings account that gets interest but cannot be withdrawn from until, maybe, the end of the week or month. Something like that.
Loans:yeah sure. If you don't pay it off, they take the credits you earn and put it towards your loan.
Investing:don't bother. Too complicates, and people who lose money will RAGE.
Perhaps there could be credit/debit card statuses too......

Jeez, which is worth more? Money or your CyberDragon? I think my money! Cyber Dragon was random, it still is my favorite auxiliary.
