Okay well wouldn't it be pretty cool if ur prtnr could give nrg to u or u to them or when they die nrg goes to u? Like ur prtnr has 18 u have 15 u have max bunk but not enough nrg ur prtnr can take a turn giving u nrg. Discus.

BurningFlames -> RE: Energy (4/26/2011 23:02:03)

That would be kinda cool, I wouldn't mind it

MistaTechMage -> RE: Energy (4/26/2011 23:04:48)

If this would happen I think it should not be a passive thing but rather take up a turn since assimilation is often used by mages to ruin strategy of opponents if this would be implemented even after assimilation a opponent could simply pass over some energy so his partner could use the skill originally intender then again Evolve or Die so I guess player would find ways to counter that.

Edit:@ below I read it I'm just saying should it happen I would hope the devs would make take up a turn because it seems op

Firewallblast -> RE: Energy (4/26/2011 23:05:32)

Going against my own post i try to be fair and voice all my opinions wouldn't it be OP cause 2 sup mercs 61 nrg each both multi 17 nrg left each if theres 1 opponent standing the dude with the weak multi gives his nrg to the guy with strong multi and he kills.

Edit: @above if u read my short explanation u would c it takes up a turn

King FrostLich -> RE: Energy (4/27/2011 2:20:20)

Nope, support mercs would be ridiculously 10,000 times more overpowered if they are partners.

Larcell -> RE: Energy (4/27/2011 9:13:49)

And when that happens you get EMP'd. Lol.

True.

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 10:34:26)

I agree.

Defiant -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 11:32:44)

IDK if someones done this already, but OCD is taking over...

Okay. Well, wouldn't it be pretty cool if your partner could give you energy, or vice versa? Maybe when they die energy goes to you? Like your partner has 18, you have 15. You have max bunk but not enough energy, so your partner can take a turn giving you energy. Discuss.

Sparticus -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 21:42:02)

Um did I miss something? Aren't you describing an energy booster? You give your partner 25 energy and skip your turn. I'm confused.

voidance -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 21:50:55)

@Sparticus
Your missing the big picture, imagine being able to save 34 credits. you could buy....oh wait nothing, this is a horrible idea.

*Nova* -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 22:06:05)

I personally think this is a bad idea, especially for Mages.
Ok, yeah maybe transfering 10-20 mana to a partner does not sound like a lot. But most partner probably need only 1 mana to use their trump cards; Artilary strike, Bunker Blaster, Super charge and whatever else.
I'm sure they can easily be EMP-ed or Atom smashed but for Mages. Their Assimilation is max-ed to only 10 points of mana, so they again will be put down to another disadvantage. And the skill reroute may not be as popular as it used to be, since most players will just depend on their partners for the extra mana points while they trash their skill points into other techniques.
And it'll also encourage more and more players to get just the right amount of mana to use all their skills without the fear of losing mana that will likely mess up their entire strategy.
I just think it'll bring more unbalance to the game than much good.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/27/2011 22:49:15)

I dont support the idea but Ill throw in an idea too :P

you lose all your energy, and ur partner receives 50% rounded down

lol its never gonna be considered. I actually think they should only allow boosters in npc fights anyway.
its really sad when you create your build, take it into combat and someone ruins it with credits. this would be just as bad.
infact, imagine the amount of abuse low level players would get for not giving their energy to the higher level player who
feels he can make better use of it. at least with boosters you can pretend you dont have one and hes none the wiser

Firewallblast -> RE: Energy Transfer In Battle (4/28/2011 20:19:49)

@above lol i do tht sometimes and im lvl 32 lol

Maybe mages will get back into 2v2 because tat's a really awesome partnr it's like ur own(i no ppl say this all the time) battery
