Obviously many of you did not read my whole post. My argument never supported the Founders. I don't support those who whine and bicker in any way.

Please only post if you have something constructive to stay. Not to pull out small lines and take them out of context. This thread is a discussion about our community, and how we as people with never continue and thrive unless we stop arguing about petty arguments such as F vs. NF.

There will always be arguements over everything..

Thats how these things go.. Everyone has there own view and everyone has there own opinion, when 2 opinions dont match.. they can either accept that there opinions dont go together and move on to agree to disagree or they can debate it in a calm and positive way so they can each see the others point from there view..

or theres the other way.. argue and flame everything in sight, i know which one gets picked the most on this forum and the most over the internet in general, so do all of you

Confrontation and speaking your views is the easiest thing to do on the Internet because there are no repercussions of your actions so you can say whatever you like.. its just about what type of person you are.. This is the internet.. will you flame someone or something to hell and back because there are no repercussions?

Or will you keep your moral decency even tho you can say whatever you like and bash anyone you like?

All this argueing and threads full of flaming needs to stop.. plain and simple

For me yes , i bought 4 armors just because they are +1 def/res higher than founder and i got Warbot (if founder armor will be buff my warbot armor will be uped ) so i will lose 5 armors just because of founder +1

Founder armor has most stat modifiers and their modifiers located perfect , Its best for str builds and its the only mage armor that doesnt give str.

I will support founder armor buff when a +26 stat modifier armor released with +8/9 but still its open discussion because of the modifiers location.

@above this is not a discussion about the Founder armor. Please just drop it.

Founder armor does not have the most stats.

It is Bunny and Cyber. Both of those armors have 12 stat mods.

As you can see I am not only one here. we are correct your post some of us. But when we do you considered use starting flaming. When I made my post just to mention my point. But you considered me whinning baby. But I bet if I said founders want buff instead you think I am speak truth. like Silent Scream said

ED is a game, that puts individuals directly in a "fight to death". Some, or maybe the majority, just gets involved to much in the gameplay of fighting and takes this behaviour into the forums.
Additionally, tensions in ED are in an upward spiral, ever since the introduction of Gamma.
New items are constantly released, especially varium items, and players do feel that they are left behind due to the high cost - of being "strong", or feeling that they are simply left behind as a meal for the "strong".

First everyone should realize: You are playing a game on the one screen, and writing in a forum on the other screen.

Usually this first step is already a complete failure.
Second everyone would need trying to realize: On the other side of the screen there is sitting a sensitive being, just like oneself is.

I can't imagine, why the community is so rude after the forum merge... Or is it just since then?
If i'm not trapped in a nostalgic memory, the community of EDF was much friendlier and also more capable of listening to each other, without flaming.

I really don't care what you have to say, if we weren't around, you wouldn't be either, there would be no epicduel without us. And on the topic of the founder armor, I believe it should be buffed at least to equal the power of the bunny borg, or +1 higher. Also please stop flaming us, as we are not all bad, some of us only care about having fun and enjoying the game. Please, as a request from someone who knows how hard it is, to be weaker than others gives us all a break. I may be a founder but that gives you no right to flame me, nor any other founder. I don't know why, but my long time friends are founders, and they're really cool if you give them a chance, like BarneyPwnsU,Bendek2000, and Yo Gotti. Thanks for everyone who actually do appreciate founders, but right now I'm feeling like we're being hated on by even those who we've fought alongside for so long, most of my beta friends even deleted me. :( So if your someone who doesn't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, because thats the only thing that causes fights, negative attitudes.

@zenix the old ED forums was more flaming and more players being rude. There are less here cause staff can edit your post.

above we never said all founders were whinning babys. So please don't jump to conclusion that all founders are all like.

I am NOT a Founder. I AM a supporter of ED. I love the community, even the people who I fight that call me a "noob" or say rude things.

Mir, i knew them for almost all of beta and they deleted me because founder got buffed when gamma started, i have few friends left from beta.

Also to be more on-topic here: Let's just all grow up, behave, and be nice. Also I have a good to say about AE. Let me begin:


As you all probably know there is a fansite for EpicDuel called: EpicDuel Reborn. It has been steadily growing and the community is very nice(sorry about the over used adjective). Recently, after much persuading, AE let us use a signature that linked to the site(You can see it if you look to the bottom of my pervious post).

You might think this was off-topic but here is why it wasn't: We are talking about not complaining: So I took into my own hands to say something nice(again sorry about this terribly over used adjective).

It is indeed a nice community. For the most part, they get along great.

Stay ON TOPIC. This topic is about the discussion of the decay in our community.

No one is to blame for this decay except ourselves. You can blame Gamma or AEF all you want, it's still not their fault. It's our own, and it's time to grow up and take responsibility.

Yesterday someone said to me, "What community?" This disheartened me very much. How can you say there is no community? We're here aren't we? But I did see what he meant. The way everyone here on the forums act, it's like my friend SUP said, "It's a mob mentality here. Nothing will ever be accomplished when disagree." Personally, I believe the whining over founders etc. Caused a delay in our update. Titan and NightWraith had to scrap everything they were doing, and change the whole update. Hence the reason for such limited content.

Our voices are heard, but when it effects the game's progress, is it worth it?

@Soliqe, we definitely do need to do some community boosting. I say before you join in-game you have to register a forum account, but then again that would result in more people joining and then never posting.

I took a small break from ED to give some time to reflect and play Herosmash. And found the points i will illustrate below.
in response to founders "if we hadn't payed ED wouldnt be here" If vars nowadays hadnt payed Ed still wouldnt be here... so sod off.
now back to a more constructive comment. I agree founders should get the 1k var because they did buy first and are to be rewarded for buying. I still remember the times in beta when i was a non var str merc and I would play against a lvl 32 var who was friendly and did insult like "noob" "you suck". They would complement and say you did good or well done not just gg. Regardless I do remember that those comments mostly came from the founders who were friendly. What happened to them? did they quit from the overflow of rudeness? or did they just give up on being friendly? without a friendly community no game can survive. because once you've done everything you can do in the game. YOU do like to have a friendly community to chat to. I believe we can still be a friendly happy community where developer and player can hold hand in hand. I want that time again. I know all of you guys do too. Who wants to play against a rude person? Would you rather rude or nice? I know 99% (the 1% are weird lol) of you would choose nice. So the first step to playing against nice people is to be nice. Nice spreads like a virus. It just needs a few people for it to catch on. BE NICE!

I would like to point out the game is still in the GAMMA phase the game isn't complete nor do I think it ever will be. Okay on to other topics, all of the developers are trying to get the best out of this communities ideas and put it in one huge pot and mix them all up but the developers cant get any good ideas when we are just arguing over who is right, which is better, what should get updated, and etc. .In my personal point of view this is why the game has gone to hell we are giving no ideas and the developers are left in the dark for what we want ( no offense you guys, you have some great ideas). We as a community and we as supporters should all go back to when we all listened to each other and had valid points and had GREAT ideas or stay in the dark ages with people joining everyday then quitting once they figure out I am playing a game where everyone resents each other and and no one truly cares.

I still think deep down the real problem is this con game going on. Founder or non founder, nearly every update you are made obsolete unless you dump another 20 bucks into the game. I hate getting your so lucky to be Founder garbage, i now realize it was just a selling point. People will say oh but you got 1k free varium... ok so 1.5 years later i get a little varium whoop dee doo. I still hear Founder armor is still best because it has 10 enhances.... wait so founder armor can be best... if we pay more?? Im not sayin i expect everything for free but some more releases that dont involve buying new things would be fun. I personally dont think anyone should be jealous of Founders, I would trade it back any day.
