You have good point if price drops by 5 percent on big purchase they might increase there sales.

@ xxmirxx: The starter kit was made with the intention of helping lower level players get started, at lower levels the varium items are much cheaper, so 900 varium would be plenty to help new players get started. It simply wasn't made for high level players, however it is a nice little boost if you need a small amount of varium for a particular item.

Seems like a great thing to me! Now I remember they did something very similar to this in Adventure Quest with the z-token packages. And they went back through basically every purchase on every character and gave them the appropriate amount based on the new system. Can we expect that? [:D]

Wiseman is correct because varium weapons for newcomers are around 25 - 125 varium.

Why does the varium pricing structure have to be based around what you get for $50 dollars?

Why is it that the membership option is totally ignored?

Why is there no credit to varium feature ingame?

Let's just say I might have 200k varium and 600k credits in my account at the moment and numerous weapons, houses, items and other varuim features that have been bought along the way.

I don't regret a cent I have spent and this game has the potential to be up there with some of the biggest online games, but get it right in your pricing structure please! The game will grow if you can attract large numbers of players who pay a reasonable amount to play an online game. Currently the inflation in this game is worse than Zimbabwe before they introduced US dollars as a currency to stabilise their economy. It is pointless charging a small player base increasingly higher amounts to sustain a game.

Why was AQW so successful, cheap online game that had lots of features! I think that Artix has lost some of the roots as to what he started creating games for and that this greed should be addressed!

Artix is really smart when it comes to this, thats why AQW and his other games are so successful.

ED somehow is bad at this, its not noob friendly, its hard to play if your low level and when you level up higher its becomes even more unfair.

The prices in varium is insane 995 for the highest weapon plus enhancements. 50$ (10,000 varium) is just like nothing anymore and how do they fix this they put promo items to sweeten the deal, its a lie. They say we are not forcing you to buy the package but actually they are unintentionally forcing us to buy it because its only available in the highest package. Do they think we are that stupid not to see that.

For now ED is the most exciting game here because of the PVP, but also the most hated because of the unfairness, they only look out for their people not the people at large.

Cindy it is heartening that the varium package proposal is being considered however I feel that it will be a spit in the ocean in fixing the high cost issue.

I feel sorry for Titan and Nightwraith I truly do. This game is their baby and they should be proud of it. It has all the elements of being a wonderful game.

However, as each new feature or item is released it has become the most cost intensive game I have ever seen. The latest idea of only providing the guns in the $50 promotion is another example.

As time has gone on with this game I have been shocked by the aggressive marketing to the point of being punch drunk.

Now I am to believe that the pricing is done by Artix Entertainment and not from our game developers but surely just surely someone can talk some sense into them.

Artix Entertainments reputation is at stake here. I trusted them because of the other AE games structure.

Please understand that I am not here to just annoy the heck out of you guys I am only pushing to get some sense into the way this game is priced comparitive to most other games on the net.

I WANT to see this game successful but the way it is right now just makes no sense at all.

Instead of increasing the packages why not decrease the varium prices instead of 995 varium why not make it 500 varium and enhancements instead of 1,700 for 10 slots make it 500 or 1,000 all in all that 1,000 or 1,500 varium that kinda nice.

because it would be ALOT harder and time consuming than it would be to just increase the amount of varium u get for packages.

the ingame prices is too much work.
hundreds of items would have to be changed and rescaled.
just simply increase varium we get thru varium packages WITHOUT compensation.
i rather have more varium for packages than nothing at all. ur being greedy right now.
