Ahh. So it slightly nerfed mercs.

Was it perhaps balance and not profit that they had in mind after all? Maybe that's the reason we can't buy them in-game, because they MUST know they'll make a greater profit by releasing them as normal items.

They release them so people will more likely buy the $50 packages since it comes free with them rather than just getting 10k varium and gamma set.

They did this so people without guns wouldn't complain.

@8rlx0 Yes, but then they could have made the guns do something different (e.g. give them a chance to steal mana/health) but then it would have been unfair on mages or bounties so perhaps they thought about that and decided to nerf mercs so that they wouldn't suspect it?

@the shadow dragon Did you not read the post? They use to reduce by only 15% not all stats. Not it doesnt reduce defences at all.

NO!!! This is crappy made me lose a few battles to varium people. Us nonvariums DEPNED on that extra damage to win. If this friday doesn't give us better, I"M quittingggg

I thought by that they ment that all of youre defences are gone. Just mis-understanded.
