Before I say my idea I want to say that i think luck is an important feature but it needs changes for it to not interfeir with people's strategy so much. Overall these are a list of idea's to make luck less of a game changer without stopping luck to be an adavantge to those who need it. The reason why is that luck can be really anoying which is why alot of people complain about it.

First off luck is fine, but when it is the last attack and your bloked or your only killed because they crit the last shot it is a bit unfair. This is what i think should happen:
- Blocking last hit (finishing kill) is 50% less likely to happen.
- If your opponent crits the last hit causing the extra dmage bringing your death, rather than it killing you it leaves you with 1 HP (like venom strike leaves people with 1HP from venom)

Another problem with luck is criting through shields, it is a major disadvatge to those who use shields as it causes the turn used casting the shield to be wasted, and it also gives the attacker alot! of rage. My idea is this:
- Rage obtained through critting through a shield be the same amount as if it where a non crit attack.
- Critting through shields is 50% less armour ignoring then what it orignally is.

Another major prblem is shadow arts, shadow arts have to greater an impact on all classes (including BH) and i think it should be changed slightly.
- Instead os 10% bonus chance to block (maxed), it becomes 5% bonus chance to block and 5% chance not to be blcoked, (so if two BH both had max SA it would cancel out and the rest of the classes only have to deal with 5% bonus luck chance)
-Also shadow arts should be able to get canceled out, eg. if a person up against a BH with SA and has alot of dex, shadow arts is able to be canceled out rather than adding to the minumum chance to block. ending up with those with high dex get the less blocked attacks they deserve.

These are all my ideas so far , feel free to sugest your own and i might add them.

Those are good ideas.
I have a random one... Take crit off of Bunker Buster. It's a nub lead-off attack that crits far more than the percentage to crit would dictate, often taking half of your health right off the bat.

then take crit % of cheapshot too.
cheapshot crits just as much as bunker, does just as more damage if not more. for just 10 energy.
while u do 1 bunker, u can do 3 cheapshots.
i seen cheapshots do 50-80 damage. bunker cant go that far.

@dillbagel, yes bunker is very anyoing and i would like to sugest it but I think it would cause alot of complaints, however if my shield idea was implanted u could weakens bunkers crits by 50% as long as you have a casted defnce shield on. (defence matrix, reflex boost).

@ gold, your slightly wrong The chance to crit cheap is slightly less as you have to take into account the often high chance to be blocked, i think if you take that into account cheap shot would have alot less chance to crit then bunker.

^@blue katz, Crits that ignore that defnce is a big prblem but we cant reduce it as it would lead to mercs becoming tanker and varium player to take advantage of their high defence (especially in 2v1) without fear of crits, thats why my shield idea makes crits 50% less afective and only affects the main problem, when crits don't deserve to do that much damage ( when shields are up). eg, u say crits ignore about 70-75% that means if a shield was up and they crit through it it would only be 35-37.5% armour ignoring.

A crit means that your going to lose the game, along with the gamma bot it ensures your defeat.

^ As much asi agree with you thier is no way they are gonna take it or nerf it, thats why my idea's lesson the extremities of luck, such as critting through shields and last hit crits, if that alone wre installed it would make a great diffrence to the "fairness" of battles.

All of these lines, plus what you propose are suggestions to make the game better and the player experience effective. That makes this a suggestion thread. And not only are you putting forth suggestions, you are encouraging others to post their suggestions.

If you have ideas and suggestions on how to fix something in the game, it needs to go in the suggestion forum.
