Theoretically speaking it should be a perfect world ^^ but it isn't.

There is quite a few annoying anomolies in this game regarding calculations/RNG.

Pvp against an NPC as opposed to pvp in normal battle is quite different regarding the RNG calculations.

However, there is something far more sinister that lurks in our battle engine.
The big hand of Doom!
No matter what you do or how good you are the big hand of Doom is out to get you and smash your confidence right out of the ball park.

Yes the RNG calculations are most frustrating but the hand of Doom just wants to obliterate. Its when you log in all happy and ready to pvp and ta dah!! You get hammered battle after battle after battle. It won't leave you until you have done a different build. It doesn't matter if that build has been working well for you previously.

I noticed this more in 2v2 throughout most of last year. This year I haven't bothered too much with 2v2.

However, the hand of Doom struck me down last week in 1v1 so bad that I just had to log out.

Cinderella, where is this post? I remember seeing either Titan or Nightwraiths post on this a very long time ago but nothing of late and can we get more specifics than that? I mean if my opponent has 26 support and 130 str and I have 154 support and he crits me with mass when i'm shielded and does 2 million damage I mean what was the chances of that? Was it 1% 2%? What is the EXACT minimum and the EXACT maximum? Is there anyway you may speak with someone who inputs the actual code into the game about maybe giving the players an ACCURATE guide to go off please?

Ava or Titan? Thought you said Titan in your message....Who in the world is Ava and what makes her post worth 2 cents? Also how is Bunker affected by support? How far can that be lowered? Is 2% added to the 25% then you do the support difference giving a 50 support merc against a 141 support mage a 12 - 14% chance to crit (Depending if base is added or not to the bunker base). I could prove this wrong in one hour as I'm sure all could lol Bunker rate is way higher and I'm not just saying this cause it SEEMS like it I'm going by previous tallys I've done to combat my mental unstableness when it comes to this and the yelling I do when I get crit 4 times in a row from Bunkers lol. Also the same goes for cheap shot how do the calcs affect that? Also some things to consider that aren't just % related such as Does a shielded opponent have an increased chance of being crit? Does a lower level player have an increased chance of critting a higher with cheap shot and Bunker as many have asked previously in this forum? So many stats, percentages, and questions in this game. Yes the players should figure most of it out through experience but it would really be helpful to have an up to date guide by someone who actually did the coding and not by someone who heard it from so and so who heard it from so and so who was told by a Mod who was told by another Mod that was told by Nightwraith lol come on....

No offense intended here and apologize in advance if any sarcasm is seen here but extremely curious about this and there's always tons of threads dealing with these issues. THE PEOPLE WANT ANSWERS lol :)

So far, only crit rate is broken. All the other calculations work fine.

@DeathSpawn: AVA is merely quoting Titan in that post, as is the Wiki Page on How Things are Calculated. All the information on these pages was originally posted by Titan himself on the old EpicDuel forums and the formulas have been kept updated as mechanics have changed with each release (ie: maximum block rate was lowered, base crit chance was lowered).

Any information on either of those pages are directly from Titan himself or from Design Notes so they are as accurate as they can be. I can ask Titan to verify the current numbers when he has time, however you can imagine he's busy preparing for Delta so he might not be able to answer for a few days.

To answer your question about Bunker Buster, the 25% chance to crit replaces the 2% base chance. It does not add to it. The same is true for Cheap Shot.
