Has anyone ever questioned why the user base of EpicDuel is so "impolite"?

Its called frustration actually.

Frustration that most of the features implemented are about varium/money at an extremely high cost and are 99.99% unwanted.
Frustration that we still have problems in the battle engine that is not being addressed in a timely manner.
Frustration that we get heard but ignored.
Frustration that Artix Entertainment does little to help EpicDuel.
Frustration that EpicDuel is simply not the game we originally signed up for back in Beta. Its almost unrecognisable really.

This game has become all about frustration.

If the dev's and moderators feel like throwing their PC's or laptops out the window then consider how the player base feels.

I simply don't feel like paying to be frustrated on a day to day basis.

well my concern is if the devs could run the test for the new classes with just 4 people in the ed team. i m also concern that the test for certain battle modes will not be done well*cough* 2v2 n 2v1 *cough*

they cant do it imo fast but it is still possible to do so. 4 people=1 2v2 match. so basically it will take ages to just test. well testing for 1v1 is easy. merc vs upgrade merc,merc vs upgrade bh,merc vs upgrade mage,bh vs upgrade merc,bh vs upgrade bh,bh vs upgrade mage, mage vs upgrade merc,mage vs upgrade bh, mage vs upgrade mage,upgrade merc vs upgrade merc,upgrade bh vs upgrade bh,upgrade mage vs upgrade mage, upgrade bh vs upgrade mage, upgrade merc vs upgrade bh and upgrade merc vs upgrade mage.

15 possible battle combos with the new classes. i m guessing the devs will test all this 15 combos. since there are 4 devs the can finish 1v1 testing fast because 2 matches can happen at the same time. now as for 2v2 and jug mode combos there are too many combos in jug and 2v2. it will take them hours to test. so basically there will be another oped class in 2v2 and 2v1 once they release the new classes as they will not bother to test all possible combos in 2v2 or 2v1 as it is too time consuming.

A PTR server would be nice. Ptr server should speed up the testing. and i think all gold card holder should be able to enter the PTR server cause the gold card was really a scam and the devs did say there be more uses of it in the future.

I honestly done think the team would release it at the 28, because they always stood all of us up and will find some kind of reason to not release it on date. :/

^ Right back at you Slimshady this game does know how to disappoint the players. It's probably going to be released during the middle of July or something. They always use the excuse of lag, or maybe the engine isn't working properly.

Energy Grenade
Lev. 1: 18 energy
Lev. 2: 20 energy
Lev. 3: 22 energy
Lev. 4: 24 energy
Lev. 5: 25 energy <-- Notice that energy improved by one not two since at level '5' the damage calculations lower by 1 (intim,malf,smoke)
Lev. 6: 26 energy
Lev. 7: 27 energy
Lev. 8: 28 energy
Lev. 9: 29 energy
Lev10: 30 energy

The reason why the amount of energy is less then 'the orginal' stun grenade is because smokescreen a bounties basic moves has no effect on a energy based skill/weapon.

A good way to not make it OP
1. At level 1 make the requirement 28 dex; remember that bounties start with the highest amount of dexterity then all classes.
2. Increase the requirement by an extra 2 dexterity points and stop and at level 5+ make requirements for dexterity increase by 3.
3. By level 10 you will need 52 dexterity which can make this skill not overused and overpowered.
4. To improve the energy-based grenade make it improve by tech, and since at level 10 you will need 52 dexterity; technology will most-likely not be spammed.

Their are making a merc syle class with a sort or bloodlust, this will mean tanking to the extreme , I can gaurente now that this class will be way too overpowered ..just you wait.

As for the other skills, wow plasma grenade.... lame, how unorignal, I would undertsand if stun grenade came from a diffrent syle class but you guys are pretty much giving BH the same skill but energy.
My idea for a better plasma grenade: An energy skilled attack unblockable that had a 50% chance to stick to the enemy removing 1 focus level for 3 turns.

As for the mage skill it seems fair as they dont already have bunker buster, and they are yet to have a crit skill however , i can see it critting alot! imagine how much bunker crits then add that to how much mages crit already it will be crazy! Just make sure devs that this new skil DOES NOT INCREASE WITH SUPPORT!!! or it will be a death wish for crits!

Actually there is something to do for ppl who are lvl 32 and below like me.I'm lvl 30 almost lvl 31 so I have something to do and for other lvl 33 who have not beaten any strong NPC like Charfade or George Lowe or BigTuna etc they have something to do.

Anybody remember the blood magic skill i suggested around a year ago that would allow you to cast spells psrtially from your hp?

Interesting, a skill that uses HP instead of Energy? Suppose that could be risky in some situations though.

@Angels if I recall correctly you(In some of your old threads) said that the devs where doing a amazing job and that their previous updates left you speechless and said "Good Job Titan". Yet here you say "Lying to the devs and telling them their doing a good job will get them nowhere". I assume your opinions about the devs changed within that time?
On Topic: Is the set date going to be directly on that day? Or is going to be postponed. Also is their going to be any more sneak peaks at some new skills for the new classes? I hope so. [:)]

@Shadronica: All the issues that have been put as 'problems' in the battle system, Titan has worked incredibly hard to sort out. The problem is the players can't decide what is actually wrong. One player says one thing, another says something completely differant, and for Titan to fix a problem that nobody can agree on is impossible. That being said, some of the problems are issues that can't be fixed unless the actual game engine coding is editted - this sounds ever so easy, and many players just say, well go fix it, then when it isn't, they say they aren't listened too. The thing is, these problems can't 'just be solved' sadly. Game engine coding issues usually require a big update like Delta, when Titan has time to search through the layers and layers of coding and fix/edit as needed.

The other thing is, people complain that there are bugs, and problems - yet when ever there is an update that purely fixes these, the players flame and troll more than ever, and this is another reason why they put it in with other updates, so there is something material aswell.

This so called 'excuse' may have been used many times, but the truth is people compare ED constantly to HS and AQW. HS has more than 9 members of devs working on it, AQW has more than 12 - ED has 3. This is 1/4 of the AQW team and 1/3 of the HS team - the ED releases will never be the same size as all the AQW/HS ones because of that. The thing is, people say it's being used as an excuse, look, it's a solid fact! Now don't say 'size doesn't matter, we just want a decent update' as I have seen as a reply to that before, because it obviously does - almost every time there's a reasonably small update the flaming begins 'whaat haz the devs ben doin all week, this iz pathetic', they've been working very very hard, that's what they've been doing.

I understand that you may not be happy with some of the releases, but when players post very 'impolitely' it in no way will motivate the devs to take up the job of sorting out it. Put it in a respective way, or atleast just say what the problem is SPECIFICLY then they will be able to sort it. I know that the devs fix things on what the community says, a lot of uncertainty has came up in the community lately, and that just confuses the matter. Even if you're frustrated, you need to show respect, because that is the key to getting on the right side of people :)
