veneeria -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/28/2011 20:54:50)

Varium price has been overrated for so long, why on earth would i stop now... if i wanted to stop.. i would have done it before. Plus, i really doubt the overrating prices are all "on epicduel". Not really following the flow of cool guys here, it sucks and makes me uncool.

Mr.MuF1N M4K3R -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/28/2011 23:45:18)

If Players retire, There are most likely to be new players playing this game.

xxmirxx -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/28/2011 23:57:48)

I am not

DeathSpawn -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 0:06:56)

Pretty sure it's safe to say everyone here retires like Brett Favre from football. Personally I've retired at least 5 times now yet here I am....

Remorse -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 4:13:09)

^ Same turkish, The problem is if you dont spend constatntly in about 6 months time your so called "varium items" become just as good as the non varium ones. They really need to make it a membership game and pherhaps leave varium only for Inventory slots, Friends List and factions. Thats my opnion anyway.

Knight_Hawk -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 4:34:47)

Ive already gave up hope for this game and Im pretty sorry I even spent money on this game. Between ignoring Founders (Remember when the Elites got Hoverbikes first and Founders got jack-squat?), empty promises (Remember Grenades? You know, the items that were dropped and replaced by Bots?), getting a total of 10% of the game for free (While even AQW gives at least 50% of the game for free, just saying) and now this, being forced to buy Varium to evolve to at least have a chance of winning. I dont see why they couldnt put 3 trainers in game, one for each class, that will retrain your stats and allow you to evolve for free, after completing a line of quests. I know Nightwraith and/or Titan wont hear us out. They didnt even hear the voices of their loyal Elites crying out against merging their forums with the AE forums. I know there wasnt anything they could do to stop that but, they never reassured those on the forum and the only Admins I saw at least trying to calm the forums were Tuna and Cindy I believe.

So all and all, those retiring, I say good for you, you learned your lesson it seems. For those that have "spent too much money to give up", I say this, there are many gamblers that say they cant quit because they spent too much money and are now trying to win it back, and while a few do, most dont and only go deeper into debt. And as Korin said, nothing can last forever. That also applies to ED, so think carefully if you want to spend another 500 bucks on ED, not knowing if it will still be around for the year or the decade.

zelemania -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 5:41:19)

I think if the new classes are varium many people will quit, most likely including me. Do I have to pay to enjoy the game? Seems like it, but not happening.

Nehal007 -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 6:03:38)

I spent more than 500$ so not thinking of quiting
may b l8r :P

Fay Beeee -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 6:13:43)

Simple answer from me.
No I will not retire yet. When I am ready, I will.:)

midnight assassin -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 8:35:22)

I already retire in this game because a non varium like me will never ever survive delta.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 8:48:49)

after i beat Armor Hazard im dropping back to the shadows becuase i just logged on for 30 minutes and there was nothing interesting about it so i made a new build for Armor and logged off

Matgon -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 9:08:12)

I retired a while ago, don't get me wrong the game is good and all but I am now 17 so I guess I grew out of it. But I always will read the forums to see how the game evolves.

pinoy idols -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 9:35:56)

Ahhh yes, finally a thread in which I can share my retirement options with others.
I will retire once Delta starts unless they make class evolution free. SCRATCH THAT! IT'S FREE! FREE I TELL YA! FUH-REE! WOOH TO THE HOO!

midnight assassin -> RE: Voluntary Retirement (6/29/2011 9:40:51)

^ It will be non varium but it will be expensive (50k I think).
