This is what I think. The reason people are moving towards TLM: Hybrid protects dex. Because of hybrid, tech can be higher, and protected by an energy armor Reroute gives energy to skills, especially toxic grenade, frenzy, and artillery. Tech increases smoke power. Reroute also allows heal looping. The maul and atom smasher is still there as well. CH: DM and Technician allows full on tank. SA allows OPed blocking. Minor ad: Malf decreases tech, so plasma grenade damage increases. BM: Mainly strength builds to take ad of BL, Berzerker, fireball, and assimilation. Plus deadly aim. The shiny new skill: plasma cannon. Plus intimidate that TM's have never used before. Dis: Low defense/res and high risk of death if the battle drags on due to the opponent's def/res and threat of blocks/deflects. Based on all of these facts, more people will gravitate towards TLM for tank and loop, and CH for tank and block. The small crows of people gravitate toward BM for quick kills for NPC, but low percentage in 1v1 2v2. TM>BM. Just outlast BM. TM is more balanced and likely to win. Last note: TLM and CH just dominates with tank and loop/block.
