Angels Holocaust -> Stay On Track (7/2/2011 21:47:14)

This will be a weekly episodic thread that I will be starting to remind the Devs of what the people want the most. Delta was a huge success the three week hype really paid off and the players enoyed the update. New classes, a cheaper class change and a 2 vs 1 boss monster was a great addition to this game.

What could be in store for us next week? Judging from the reaction of the forums the players want more content like more 2 vs 1 boss monsters, the momentum of this game is getting better but let's try not to ruin it like you did in Gamma.

Onto a more delicate subject, and that's nerfing. If the Devs do decided to nerf the tactical merc class than it's going to cause a huge uproar on the forums and in game. The players will leave and the momentum of Gamma will stop. Remember what happened to the heal looping tech mages? The class never recovered and is still in shambles even in Delta. I for one do not want to see the same thing that happened to the mages happen to the mercs. At least give it three months before doing anything to the class. If you do indeed nerf the class in the near future, the players will feel scammed, we payed varium or credits to switch, so we have the right to play it before anything happens to it. If you do indeed decided to hit the class and render it useless, can we have our credits or varium back? We paid for one thing and in a week we got something else.

Remember Juggernaut? That was a huge failure because we were charged for one thing and got another. We paid varium to battle players between the levels of 23-25 we got that for a week and it was changed. After that it was 25-28, that was already tough, and in 1 more week it was 30-33 the players felt scammed because we didn't want that. You advertised 23-25 opponents and in just three weeks we didn't get what we paid for we were given something completely different. That is fraud and deceit and is not appreciated in the business world.

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 22:05:59)

actually we want varium price to change but they didn't. TLM be nerf alot will be happy just take look at these threads wanting them nerf. Juggernaut was great when change it shouldn't be easy it should feel like 2vs2 when partners runs away.

You know full well they were testing 2vs1.

ND Mallet -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 22:27:39)

The devs will always try to make the classes as balanced as possible. If you feel that your class is balanced despite all the threads saying to nerf it, then you can't blame anyone but yourself for not switching earlier. It's kinda obvious when a class is overpowered if their Ultimate skill is not Mass and can deal 30-40+ at level 2 and be buffed by one of their skills. The build that uses that is a super tank who can outlive whatever a str build can throw at them even if that str build is BM. They always Surgical before you rage.

No Angels you didn't pay to play as an overpowered class that most likely will be nerfed, you payed to switch classes. You also payed to have access to Juggernaut, not Juggernaut against low level players you will always win against. The devs never promised to keep Juggernaut the way it was. They were testing it out to see how it needed balanced and to get any bugs out of it.

edwardvulture -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 22:51:12)

You bought the class knowing that it was Oped. So nerf u should get.

m16dern warfare -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:06:11)

i agree with angels, advertising a virtual item worth real life money, then changing that item 1-2weeks after it is bought should be seen as a form of bussiness fraud. If you nerf tact mercs now, people will think that they were scammed 1 week after buying the 900 varium (rly $9 class).

think about it, what if you bought this awesome itouch, but the 1 week alter it is updated so you can't use wifi or use the internet, that is fraud, same thing if you produce a virtual item, then change it so early after you release it.

@edward i didnt buy the class knowing it was op'd, what kind of blunt statement is that, i immediately upgraded 5minutes after the update, so i had no idea what was op'd or not

@nd mallet i never said sueing was my intention, but when u switch classes, you buy something that is 'described' in the update. change that, and i didn't exactly get what i paid for

ND Mallet -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:09:14)

@m16dern You didn't pay to use an overpowered class. You payed to change from one class to another. You could try sueing for fraud but you won't succeed in it since you did indeed get what you payed for(which is changing classes).

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:13:59)

http://www.epicduel.com/charpage.asp?id=Sir%20ND%20Mallet The ND Mallet Guy I can see why you want TLM nerf. Maybe BM skill deadly aim should be replace. since it will be over powering skill.

ND Mallet -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:22:12)

@Mir If you've payed attention to my character page all throughout the game while I argued about Overpowered and Underpowered classes then you would notice I have called classes I played Overpowered just like I've called classes I play against Underpowered. My class has nothing to do which side I take on balance issues. I personally don't want BM buffed any since it pwns already. The only problem to my build is TLM. They can manage huge defenses and huge damage. Technician is a major contributor to that. It improves their smokescreen and Ultimate skill, both of which are unheard of for any class. Before Delta, no class could buff there defense lowering skill or Ultimate for good reasons which are now apparent. Not only that but it covers resistance for mercs so you have tanks with damage.

Why would you remove Deadly Aim? It has a support requirement on it to prevent it from being abused and it's quite effective at that.

Mr. Black OP -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:27:54)

but a 42 support requirement.. thats too high not all classes are supposed to be 5 focus, i might be able to see a 36 or 38 at max but 42 thats just too much

ND Mallet -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:39:44)

@zman It has a 42 requirement at max. You don't need to have it maxed to get a huge buff from it.

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/2/2011 23:56:27)

Why would you remove Deadly Aim? because it will be next overpower skill in future. I don't think you understand why nerfs are bad thing. nerfs create angry and alot of complaining of people feeling cheat it. reason why agility was add was because of mages and add 4 cool downs. then after agility all merc were using high support builts then bounty start using high strenght buils and then mages start using high support builts to counter merc and bounty. What happen then shadow arts came in it was nerf. do you see cycle if we keep nerfing there will be more complaining about nerfs. We need to stop find ways to impove class. Like give bounty field commander and smoke and blood lust. Mages give them there matrix and reroute .

edwardvulture -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 0:50:50)

@m16 Well you could have seeing that a few of us figured that they would get both hybrid and reroute. They even got a debuff.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 0:57:38)

the solution is buff the other classes instead of nerfing tac mercs.
give bloodmage reflex boost. so that they dont complain about their defense.
and please dont give me that balony about the technian + surgical strike combo. because a simple EMP will screw it up hard.

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:01:45)

give them reroute and matrix

goldslayer1 -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:02:26)

@mir
no leave reroute on tac mercs.
and give reflex to bloodmages.
idc about matrix

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:06:15)

No they both get it. no mages want reflex they want reroute and matrix reflex like tech shield its useless

goldslayer1 -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:09:29)

@mir
bloodlust and reroute = very OP.
thats why bloodmage should not get reroute.

Luna_moonraider -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:11:18)

@ mir
giving blood mage reroute would make them have 3 passive are u nuts blood-lust+reroute+deadly aim = passive abusing blood mage.

yes blood mage need reflex boost they do not need technician imo.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:12:17)

@luna
they would have 4 passives with assimilation.

Luna_moonraider -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:16:03)

@ gold
o.O yeah did not think bout that. wow 4 passive that is = to uber oped IMHO. but sadly asim is blockable and has cooldown so it is still 3 passives.

Aere -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:39:34)

No more nerfing... Only buffing...

xxmirxx -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:43:48)

quote:

@ mir giving blood mage reroute would make them have 3 passive are u nuts blood-lust+reroute+deadly aim = passive abusing blood mage.

Thats my point exactly luna " Are you nuts" not mean you are nuts. But nerfs are stupid this cycle of nerfs won't end.
quote:

you have no idea what mages needs reflex is stupid thing to have matrix is good. but reflex thats like reroute.

Arcanis -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 1:59:07)

@gold:Since when did assimilation became passive? Cost of 0 doesn't make it passive.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 2:01:46)

@rakdos
its considered a free attack or a passive.
the staff call it a passive.

drinde -> RE: Stay On Track (7/3/2011 2:19:04)

New retraining system, promised to us loooooong ago...
