Regarding the Thermostaves..

When the Special occurs, the "thermometer" fills up. When it occurs again, it goes back down. Is there any significance to this?

This has been explained in the weapon's entry. Every special fills the meter, and once full, it damages the player and empties itself. ~Koree

Weird.. I didn't see it there just now. Hmm...

So the second part has been rolled into the table, but the first part has not. Does that mean the entry, which says:

Is wrong? I could be mistaken, it just seems like there is a contradiction for me. Shouldn't the special still take -4 bth since the +9 is rolled into the entry? Or does the +9 account for the -4?

My question: Should the entry say "all normal player attacks" or "all normal player attacks and specials?"
The weapon factors in the +9 Bth on the special numbers but not the -4 on the weapon. So when entering this in the spreadsheet, as I assume that is the reason you brought this up, you need not worry about the +9 enter the weapon as it is and just put -4 in the regular Bth modifier and that's it. ~Aces
