Angels Holocaust -> Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 1:27:37)

This is my second weekly episodic event that I usually do every week. This week we'll be talking about the momentum of the game. From what I've been reading on the forums the players are very unsure of Delta, there is no negative or positive comments about this phase of the game. The question is what's next? Will the Devs make the same mistake that they made at the beginning of Gamma and cripple the Tactical Merc class just as they did to the mage class? Or will the Devs release a load of content to the players along with scary weapons and bots that will revolutionize the battlefield? If the Devs do release new weapons, I'm sure that will change the direction of the classes, oh yeah forgot to mention we have got to fix the lag it's gotta go.

actually went down hill when we merge in August not sure of exact date. Well I honestly don't see them change there ways still stubborn. Its basically there way or hit high way and don't turn back . Unfortunately I wish remove agility and give us freedom.

If go same way they did 2vs1 bosses were we choose are partners. I think delta could be great if they allow us to choose are partners in 2vs2. by the way Angels Holocaust great idea about 2vs2. listen to this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe9raloACbg Hit the Road Jack

Remorse -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 2:10:12)

Angels you seem to be the only one objecting to changes made to tac mercs, i have spocken to many tac mercs who belive that they are not necesarily "oped" but they have too many combinantions of good skills compared too all other classes. You know why you don't want them changed because once agin you enjoying the unfair advantage tac mercs have over other classes. I will be extremely disapointed if something is not done about tac mercs to equel them with all other classes skills wise not necesarily because they are "oped" (although in alot of cases they can be seen this way). Blood mage and cyber hunter are also lacking these range of good skills (BM's a phiscal shield, Cyber hunters a decent passive) and i would like to see the following changes :
Blood mages get a phiscal shield (it may be hybrid/DM/Reflex)
Cyber hunters get another or better passive in trade for shdow arts. (either make static charge passive, or swap something like hybrid/BL for shadow arts.)

As for Tac mercs, don't change them to criple them simply change them to equal them out with the good range of skills all other classes have, eg. taking bybrid in change for (DM,Reflex) or either take reroute in change for static charge, smoke changed to something else but watver it is , it is clear they have too many good combinations of skills compared to every other class and no matter how you twist things angel deep down you know this is true , so why not be a fare player and come up with an idea to change tac mercs without cripling them sounds fair?? i think so.

Shadow Jester -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 4:40:21)

i LIKE your "Stay On Track" threads :).

I want new weapons and bots. I also want a new weapon class... Like a pet or something.

My ideas

Have a Cyber Dragon that does Energy damage. Or a Small Hazard. Something cool is what I want :)

T29060 -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 5:35:52)

I think tlm shuld be nerfed a bit, not too much.
^ cool idea pets along with skins could make this game a whole lot funner.

So because of their lack of imagination to give 'some good skil' to the other classes, they will nerf Tac Mercs making them as boring as the others...

@Angels: I like delta so far. The new 2vs1 is great. They will fix the lag. Chillax

PumKing -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 7:59:37)

^Still taking that into consideration, I still think it is a serious slap to the face of ALL bh the power of thw toxic grenade :(
And I still think it's weird that all the new classes gave up the one passive that really defined the class, but the tacticle mercs still kept hybrid armor

king julian -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 8:00:11)

Angels you always seem to talk about the dev's in a negative way which gets you a lot of attention from them attention if i was you wouldnt want cause they obviously have a very good eye on you.

Remorse -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 8:02:58)

@ Mr. Bones, Um yes, Isn't that the point of a balanced PvP , You sort of supported me by saying this
quote:

they will nerf Tac Mercs making them as boring as the others.
So it's obvious you agree that tac mercs are more advantaged in terms of skills. However i agree with you it would be nice if they didnt have to nerf them and simply buff every other class to give them the same set of skills tac mercs have ..(fat chance of that happening) The fact is Classes are formed around a sort of template, Some have a mana drain iohers dont, Some have one good Passive some have 2 medium ones, Some have a damage de buffs as long as it's fair to the other classes by not having extreme defences. Tac mercs however cross over this class template , luky for us tac mercs dont have enough skills points to put as much levels in the good skills they have as they desire.. otherwise we would be doomed.

@Pumking, Exactly!

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:16:27)

mage class wasnt crippled. one ridiculously powerful build was altered. but the changes actually effected all classes.
then they were left with one side of the tree broken, the caster part. tactical mercs were rolled out and from day 1
its been nothing but complaints on how they have way too many powerful skills that work together and now they
will also be altered. not nerfed, not crippled, brought down to a more reasonable level in line with the other classes.

my main hope for delta is str bhs are also altered and brought down to a manageable level so the TLMs can stop
using them as an excuse as to why they arent OP.

blood mages seem pretty cool except for the lack of any defence based skills. cyber hunters really dont play much
different than normal hunters. they got energy grenade, a new version of a completely garbage skill. multi is now
effective at least so I suppose its a trade off right.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:26:51)

@Jehannum

Why would multi be any more effective than plasma grenade? On the contrary, plasma grenade would be more effective since cyber hunters have technician, which boosts the grenade's damage, and since it, unlike multi, has a chance to stun. This is in a 1v1 context, of course.

Snaipera -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:34:25)

You know what ? I've been a Mage since the beginning of the game . As of Delta , Mages are ... how do I put this . Even a rug with a splashed turd on it will be embarrassed to call itself a Mage .

You want Tacticals Nerfed ? I WANT MAGES BALANCED AND GIVEN A CHANCE TO COMPETE . The whole reason I changed to a Tactical Mercenary is because of Reroute , one of the best skills in the game IMO .

So first of all , if you're going to nerf the tacticals , be my guest , but PLEASE give Mages some chance . I want to see them capable of fighting , not just standing . Buff the spells , fix supercharge , 6 weapon-specific skills, only 3 physical staffs (2 of which are ,let's face it , garbage) .

So before anyone talks about any nerfs , let's talk about buffing Mage . Guess no one thought of that . Cos most of ya are whining bounties that get your asses served to you on a plate by someone and start crying how unfair it is.

Wootz -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:45:03)

@Snaipera
Just use a high Support build. With a good Malf and a decent Aux ya' could pwn with DM and Malf + Aux, y'know?

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:47:42)

@Silver Sky: well you have malfunction to make multi more effective and its not too expensive in 1v1.
and yes I hadnt considered the possibilities of technician and energy grenade. i got the E armor so that
I could use a high dex build but thats definitely a 2nd option if i decide to switch. just one question though,
would you ever use a turn on technician if you hadnt been malfed first?

@1234 Speedy: Support build is pretty much the only effective mage build. that or 5 focus.

Wootz -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 9:50:22)

@Jehannum

True story, bro. It destroys my BH.

Chosen 0ne -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 10:05:14)

TLM shouldnt be equil with the other classes! It should be stronger then merc, bh, and tm, so should blood mage and cyber hunter.

Evolution=Stronger

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 10:15:18)

erm no. this isnt Pokemon lol.

whats the point of having 3 new, more powerful classes if its gonna take 6 months for a casual gamer to earn the 50k credits needed to switch :)
you would basically be telling 90% of the player base to quit, as the likelihood of ever winning a fight against the new class would be slim.

EDIT: 90% was just a random figure representing the non-varium players and casual players.

Frostbud -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 11:18:10)

Every class has their advantage...people just give up to easily and dont bother with creativity..I blame some of the community, not the devs.

Xendran -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 11:44:42)

@Frostbud thats not true. Blood Mage and Cyber Hunter have pretty much no advantages over other classes.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Stay on Track Part 2 (7/12/2011 11:54:25)

lol it doesnt matter how many complain about one class being too powerful. always some clown says its bad players
even when recognised pros are playing that class and saying that it is indeed too powerful. funny as hell really.

but if you disagree with them your a troll so yeah.
