Sipping Cider -> Too much stuff (7/14/2011 4:43:42)

One thing that i have noticed is the amount of things to keep track of in Epic duel seems a little much. As more and more features are added, the less important the old ones become. when you log on do you: check out other players achievements? view influential factions? check out other players rank? check faction related all time leader boards? check daily leader boards when they are not trying to get on it themselves? read HQ messages? take the time to check out different looks? remember to get all their famers to fame them? actually look at what faction controls a flag, even when your faction is not interested in that flag? check for new design notes? check for twitter updates from the developers? My point is, there is a ton of stuff going on in epic duel, and if you do all of this, it can take a good half an hour just to get updated with everything before actually battling. And after looking at all this stuff, it makes everything less special and people do not actually care as much if you have lots of fame, achievements, high rank, cool look, or if your faction is influential or not. So what do you think? are you simply used to checking up on everything every time you log on? are there things you do not check up on because you think it is not worth it?
