Angels Holocaust -> An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:35:02)

As we all know, this week will be the release of the LQS shop and the players are scared that the rich players might iron fist the itelsa armor. Now I, the legendary Angels Holocaust has a great idea that will benefit everyone. If the Devs could also implement a 2,000 battle token cost on the armors, that would be very helpful. Think about it my friends, all of these rich players have one thing in common and the thing that they all have in common is that there all inactive, they usually use their money to do all the work. You can't buy battle tokens and even if they use battle boost, there going to have to spend even more money on this game benefiting not only the normal players but the devs.

DeathGuard -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:37:36)

I see the point of your thread angels, but that wont help too much, remember not all battle like crazies all day, I do but not most of them, they donate tokens and such, so what about raising credit price instead of putting battle tokens as a requirement?

Third Eye -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:42:41)

Self-proclaimed legendary? Anyways, this isn't really a bad idea after all. However I believe that the freelancers or the non-faction players will have an advantage to those who do. Like what cyberbakio ryugan said, they have to donate tokens to their flags in order to maintain their standings. If they don't do that, other factions might take the opportunity to take their flag.

On the other hand, with your reasoning about everyone taking their time to EARN their dream items is better than having the P2P always having an advantage to the F2P.

Elf Priest JZaanu -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:44:36)

This would be a fun feature to add for some items regardless if it is considered limited quantity or not. The more features in this game to compete for and with, it adds to the overall experience of the game. By adding a battle token requirement, some elements might take a hit like the current flag system. It will also add more traffic into the game. Low/non varium cost, with High Battle Token cost would do wonders.

As long as there is a decent amount of notice ahead of time, this feature would be interesting. A store using a 3rd tier of currency, how unique is this.

This is giving me another idea, I shall post into my suggestions. I shall return back to this to repost here too.

AxeOFury -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:47:31)

I just spent 2k battle tokens on achievements -_-"

Lenofor -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:50:30)

I belive the majority of us have an life and need to take care of it, not just stay on the PC for hours and hours. NOT supported.

Elf Priest JZaanu -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:50:41)

Its unlikely they will add the token feature for upcoming LQS. I also think by adding this feature along with limited time shops, now this will definitely bring in much more players and collectors alike.

Third Eye -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:51:36)

@Lenofor
So what's the point of these P2P having those items if they're not going to use it?

Lenofor -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:53:04)

I meant the 2.000 battle tokens thing. I have a life and need to work to mantain it. Not kill 2.000 people fast before the LQS sell out

DeathGuard -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:54:27)

Battle tokens have many uses and that will higher its value, the functions are arcade battles, achievements and flags, a fourth use should help along with the others three, but if it was to be in LQS, it should be around 200 not 2k, because it is quite a lot [:D]

Elf Priest JZaanu -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:56:28)

2k battles x 32 credits = 64,000 credits value for armor for great deal of 2k battle tokens.

Why is it a great deal, cause you have now 64k credits for enhancements.

If they ever released a shop like this with 2k token price, they would definitely need to give notice about 1 or 2 months in advance.

Lenofor -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 18:58:24)

^ Yes, that would do. That way i can mantain an nice kill routine. About 30 people a day and then i'll have the tokens. Maybe a bit more on sundays

Wootz -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:17:58)

On-Topic: Simply NO.
Off-Topic: You are NOT legendary.

Shadronica -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:20:59)

The LQ shop is another huge mistake they have made in this game.

It is so open to exploitation by the thoughtless, selfish, greedy players for their rarity rating. It should be a limit of one of each item per player.

The LQ shop itself is just another source of aggravation in EpicDuel. It is not fair to players in different time zones either. PLUS it is rarely announced exactly when the shop will be open again.

And they wonder why the community gets nasty!

DeathGuard -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:22:05)

@Jzaanu: Thats a lot of credits but perhaps a regular player will get it approximately 40 days, 50 battles per day divided by 2k battles= 40 days so is really accurate your idea of advertising it 1 month or 2 months before the LQS

DeathGuard -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:25:12)

@Shadronica: You're wise as always, but someone here in forums, I think T.600, said that a LTS ( Limited Time Shop) Will be better than a LQS ( Limited Quantity Shop).
Yea, must players buy more than 1 of the items but it is to higher their rating, their purpose is not bad but they should give a chance for the ones trying to get it.

Shadronica -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:33:06)

A limited time shop is by far a better option but still with a limit of one of each item per person. This way it would be fair to most players. It should be open for 24 hours on release day and then again for another 24 hours the following week giving everyone a greater opportunity and far less stress.

AQWPlayer -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:47:25)

@Shadronica
Why would you want a 1-item limit on limited TIME items?

Angels Holocaust -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:48:43)

Guys a LQS shop is just as good, we need players to have an incentive to come back to this game.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:50:15)

I Latin Lover , THE LEGENDARY, disagree(:

~copies angells on purpose~

AQWPlayer -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:51:01)

A good incentive would be to lower varium pricing and reduce power gap between var and non var. But of course, that's not going to be implemented because the devs care more about their current profit than the whole community.

DeathGuard -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 19:53:28)

@AQW: The power gap between varium and nonvar should be lowered yes, but not at a point of giving them a equal % as variums, because varium players pay for POWER and that is why they bought varium. Also I agree your first statement lowering prices but you forgot something.
BALANCE ALL THE CLASSES

AQWPlayer -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 20:06:49)

My concept of balance is that, if two players of the same class and equally good builds fight, the varium player should have a 60% chance to win instead of a 90% chance Also I agree your first statement lowering prices but you forgot something.
BALANCE ALL THE CLASSES Agree, TM, BM, and CH should get a buff

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 20:07:12)

Angels you are not legendary becuase its an object baised statement

anyway the 2K would slow down the sell out but it would limit it even more then teh current system so i cant support

Wraith -> RE: An Inconvenient Truth (7/25/2011 20:07:58)

Lower the tokens to 1000 and I support lol.
