@OWA I understand you can make a build without it, its just hard to imagine you can replace such an efficient power boost with something equally efficient.
[even a few points can give serious power boost every three turns to an unblock-able weapon with 33 base damage with no energy cost]

like its true that people who use varium should be stronger but not too strong
like any big rare weapon would have 10 enhancements so if all your weapons and your armor had 10 enhancement slots each then thats basicly adding 10 lvl of stats not including stats coming from the weapons and armor.
and plus who ever spends hundreds to have a strong character that beats all must really have nothing else to do with their life and their money
like the idea of enhancements made the gap huge. was it a good idea- yes did we really need it- not really
Giras Wolfe -> RE: The Gap II (9/6/2011 22:24:08)
Way too big. If the gap was smaller, more nonvariums would play, and we'd enjoy our varium advantage over them. When NO nonvariums play we essentially lose the advantage varium provides.

@giras:
Well said, I think it is ridiculous for Varium users to barely gain an advantage because all they fight in 1v1 are other Varium users.
We are on the right track with the newer weapons - but they are still severely underpowered without enhancements and credit enhancements are still too expensive.
I see three possible solutions:
1)Make all enhancements credits (to level the playing field and) to give an advantage to more experienced players
2)Lower the price of credit enhancements
3)Introduce Ballyhoo to this game [credits scaled to your level and rare small varium drops] to make the current prices more reasonable
