Next event is Halloween then Christmas, why not an event for Turkey day and what would that achievement be?

How about an event for Veterans day what would that achievement be?

How about the Marine Corps Birthday, November 10, what would that achievement be?

we got TLAPD so who knows if we get thanks giving or any other holidays done by the rest of AE

hardcore59 -> RE: Events (10/2/2011 11:45:01)

there's a hammer in one of the AE games called the "Turkey Club" i would like to see that in ED

Midnightsoul -> RE: Events (10/2/2011 11:54:19)

yeah...i really wonder why ED kinda skipped thanksgiving. i actually REALLY want an old-fashioned looking gun like boomstick except seasonal. :)

Well, ED is a game where people play from all over the world. They only put in events that the world celebrates. Excluding, of course, 4th of july. Because the team is still american.
The events you listed are solely American. Think more globally.

We could at least have a thanks giving related item, but I won't complain.

Well I have been all over the world and countries on Veterans Day do show recognition more so too Veterans then in America and some countries recognizes and celebrates the Marine Corps Birthday as a sign of honor and respect because with a small force they could do a lot.

Well, I think ThanksGiving Day should be part of ED events, also a memorial day for the ones who quitted and maked great accomplishments, and honored those who still play and still are fighting to make history in this game. I also would like to see a "Fight Cancer Day", recently I got this idea by seeing some photos that my brother took during a journey throught the hospital, it was consisting of talking and living with people with cancer, I saw that they were many teens of 14 taking care of their little brothers, I was admired and have this idea. Hope you take my idea in consideration[:)]

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so as we all fight battles in the game and fight to make things better for our own classes in the forum we must not forget the real life battles that people face everyday from cancer to the Veterans of old to the Veterans of new that the battles never end.

So for this month I say have a pink ribbon as an achievement.

I have not forgot about all the players from Hungary because my mother and father lead the the Freedom fighters of the October 1956 Revolution which sent shock waves through the communist regime.

Careful or you might start spreading the message for people to donate to charity rather than buying varium...

That was just bad taste... one time I fought someone who said "If you spent as much as you did with varium with unicef the world would be a better place." I think I need to go look at my morals now... lol.

To which an appropriate response would have been, "If you'd spend more time volunteering rather than critiquing a strangers performance in an online game, you could help make the world better by starting with your own community."

Although hindsight is 20/20, this is a common occurrence online; berating an individual without realizing what a hypocrite you make yourself out to be.
