Thank you kkut for saving all those games! I might be able to experience old A&R games now!

kkutwar -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 7:54:45)

Well if anyone wants to view all the old games I'll be putting them in an off-site. From there you guys can just add games to it as they progress I guess. By the way, forgot I saved Clock City.

Chesset -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 10:12:20)

I would definately love to see that site.
You saved Clock City! :) that game looked interesting, too bad it didn't take off the first time.

kkutwar -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 11:38:37)

Here everyone can find the games I have currently archived, and I'll put up more later. Sorry about the site name/other stuff, it was before I got this idea.

1girlhousefan -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 12:21:06)

Which sounds more interesting to you? Hero School or Wraithunters?

Arthur -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 12:31:43)

To those who wish to replay Regaliours; I am thinking of not making the whole game at a time, but have you guys play it chapterwise. Like the first Regaliours that I release will be a playthrough of Chapter One. Once we finish it, I get it locked and start on Chapter Two and so on.

This way, the Game will feel less heavier and fast paced. Not to mention making a more engaging story. Any thoughts?

@Those who've played Regaliours before, and also to those interested. Would you gus like to explore the Origins like with Shadow Blades or start off with us being Regaliours?

I would've gone with Creator's Forge: Tactics upon my return, but that game's heavy and still needs work integrating.

kim346 -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 12:52:57)

I would like to play Regaliours, and I would prefer starting as Regaliours.

kkutwar -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 12:58:42)

I think it makes more sense to play the Prologue first so we understand some of the stuff instead of getting thrust straight into adventure and having to assume things.

Regarding 1girl I'll go with Hero School, as superheroes are fun.

By the way, what's with the lack of interest in recent games?

Arthur -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 13:04:44)

Okay, now I am in a dilemma.
But, after some thinking, I feel we can start somewhat on a Prologue-ish note.

Kkut's right, while getting thrust into the Action and Adventure does help on the immediate promotion of the game, it helps less to understand the story.

So, with all due respect Kim, I think I'll make the first game a Prologue. By the way, did you play Regaliours the first time?

Also, older players are gonna witness the well-received Quick-Time events again.

1girlhousefan -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 15:00:57)

Hero School is up.

Arthur -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 15:15:46)

Hey Kkut, is your forum for public use?

kkutwar -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 15:20:27)

Yes, just not the section with my projects/old games. So if you remember stuff for a game just put it up there.

Arthur -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/4/2012 15:24:14)

A'Right. I'll see if I can do something.

Superthread's gonna be up tomorrow. Gonna fill it with so many new and old concepts.

Reaper Sigma -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 14:30:38)

Wow, you saved every bit of those games. A tip of the hat to you, kkut.

I remember talk of a UCaG archive some time ago, but we weren't sure how to go about it. I suppose a community-driven archive is the best course of action.

kim346 -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 17:55:40)

And yes Arthur, I did play Regaliours.

And could someone remake Apothesi? That was a very interesting concept.

King Helios -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 18:03:42)

I'm thinking of making an A&R game, FreeWorld.

Basically, you can do whatever you want in the beginning, but then your actions lead you to other people and more drastic actions.

This sound good?

Arthur -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 18:15:28)

If there's one thing that my two years here taught me, then that is that open-world games are ALMOST NEVER liked.

Although I do wonder how Spiritfall got around to winning one GoTM.

kkutwar -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 18:33:05)

@King) So like Genesis: Rebirth, but with full godly might at the start? The name could use work, but please explain more.

Lord Darkblade -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 18:36:20)

That sound like a cool game.

kim346 -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/5/2012 20:11:37)

@KH I really like the concept. (I like the concept of everything :P)

PBlades -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/6/2012 22:42:56)

I'm back.

steel blade -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/7/2012 9:26:02)

Welcome back. Where have you been?

PBlades -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/7/2012 10:48:57)

Somewhere over the rainbow, Way up high, Where blue birds fly~

More specifically, a rural village atop a mountain cut off from most modern amenities- including electricity.

Reaper Sigma -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/7/2012 12:00:16)

Did they at least have indoor plumbing?

PBlades -> RE: UCaG Guide / General UCaG OOC / Welcome/Goodbye (11/7/2012 19:16:47)

Only if you count wells, water jars and a hole in the ground as plumbing.
