So, first off, the missions that are currently implemented in-game vary from buying things from shops to killing npc's, and the rewards are 400-1200 credits or weapons. But there aren't many of these (finished like all in a day because they are 1 time quests) and there isn't much story-line behind these quests. Also, the weapons are rather weak (lower levels). I think that the arcade was a step in the right direction with the bot, house, etc as prizes. However, as a player of AQW, I long for a quest on a larger scale. I just wanted to know who else might be interested in a longer quest (perhaps kill 200 Biohazards etc) that would give a 20-30% percent chance of a decent weapon (like a normal credit weapon) that is lvl 30+, and then a 5-10% chance of receiving a varium level weapon, and perhaps 1-2% chance of receiving an even better weapon or perhaps a set. For the story-line part, why not a *defend city* option like in Mechquest or AQ (fight one of a certain set of npc's)for which every kill gives you some kind of currency (different from gold, perhaps medals) that you can eventually use in a special, powerful item shop. I believe doing this would really get people into the game and excited about defending their side and being rewarded for it. I mean isn't war between Exile and Legion kind of the whole story? Why not make it feel like a war (fighting desert raiders to defend the base for example) rather than just a PVP game with an undeveloped storyline? I just want people to post their opinions on longer, REPEATABLE, and more rewarding quests and perhaps a *defend the city/base* npc battle button (that might or might not count toward hourly limit)

-I know the staff has a ton on their plate right now, and thanks for working so hard. I know balancing is important, I just hope story is somewhere high up on the list. Keep up the good work

While I agree that more involved quests would be interesting, I can't go along with this idea. I hardly believe varium items should be given away for nothing, and to have the chance at better-than-varium items would defeat the purpose of having varium in the first place.

I'll admit I get tunnel vision sometimes with this game, and quests with a purpose wouldn't hurt. Perhaps the rewards for an involved quest should more closely resemble those available from the arcade. Nothing that would give you an advantage in battle. A style or bike maybe, but if they start giving away their best items for free then who will pay to keep the servers up?

I agree with the missions thing (we havent had new missions since admin 11 came out)

Though i disagree with the chance to earn a varium weapon

i agree about not earning a varium wep from plasma devastator as assault bot is already enough. i really have been suggesting a storyline but no one listened. :(
although, everything else, i agree with hotair

@ Cinderella that always happens...I suggest/comment on something and it magically happens xD Though ya varium wep is perhaps too much, but good gear like pre-enhanced credit weapons or free enhancements would be pretty dope too...

Juggernaut items would actually make sense in this game lol...why not create a set of weapons only accessed through a quest (which unlocks an uber varium and non varium shop)? I'm just glad to see that others support these ideas and look forward to more ways of getting gear than just shops. I just found out you guys only have like 3 people lol...so putting in a system that drops weapons when you kill monsters might take a lot of time...you guys deserve more staff, this game rocks :)

Much of the reason for a lack of missions/quests/"things to do" is the lack of a writer. Hopefully I won't let you down! :3

I am against any mission that gives a varium weapon without spending 900+ varium.
pretty much every non-varium would be trying to do the mission, would completely wreck the balance and negatively effect revenue.

Ok we get it xD no varium rewards. Though cool weapons like a morphing one is an even better reward IMO...if I had the time I woulda loved to get more involved with the storyline, but college takes up my time ^_o
