Ha! I knew something was wrong about Frenzy.

About the smoke, seem like a good thing. BH is always strong... this will hold em a bit, at least reduce the stupid block a little... but really no one use low Sup and lv 4 Smoke nowadays >.> Idk if this update do anything
And Tank STR TLM is impossible to beat, tx to their stat, they won't be effected by skill tree change

Another fail balance change.

The TLM skill tree itself is the issue, not the stat requirements on particular skills. The dominant build will still remain, only about 4 points will move from str to supp, to counter the requirement. And Smoke lv4 is enough for str TLM, and most likely the requirement for lv4 Smoke won't be that high.

Every single time a stat requirement for a skill was introduced, it changed nothing, since the requirement can be fulfilled by moving only a few stat points around.

I really don't like all the requirements, I looks like they're trying to make everyone use a 4-5 focus build by making focus builds the best builds.

Most tanks don't use smoke or frenzy so only str tlms will suffer from the change. :P Imo the requirements won't do much to the balance, as someone said the whole tlm skilltree is the problem.

@skeletondude : A support requirement does not mean that smoke improves with support. It just means that you have to have a certain amount of support before you can use the skill (ie minimum requirement)

EDIT: @skeletondude no prob ;) either tac mercs get nerfed (slightly), so i guess its good for everyone

Smoke is improved with Technology, not Support.

In my opinion he will drop weak items just like Snork's armor drop, since non variums can beat him too and they don't want free players too strong, do they?

I think NW will drop something like a key card (11% chance) which will grant us access to his shop to buy exclusive items.

Or maybe we just have to rob his house.

I wonder if Varium will have chance to get drop. I meant something like "Varium only Drop".

It's like in AQ. When you defeat him, you open the shop. The shop can have some low drop rate though

I rather they drop a key to allow us to gain access to his shop where there are varium as well as non varium stuff up for grabs instead of just varium drops. Fairer for the non variums.

I hope that the shop has at least 2 Non-Var equipment, and that does NOT include a bike.

Wait... The drop could be used to turn in for different Missions with differing drops.

I don't think the game engine supports locked shops or in-game shop unlocking functions yet. I don't know about the new missions engine, but as far as I know, it doesn't support turning in items for other items either.

Anyway, yeap, it would be better if it isnt a bike anyway. Best is that its a Primary Mutating weapon. [:)]

to those people saying they are pushing us to 5 focus, no they aren't, they are just making sure everyone has to be creative with their builds.
why should a str build also be able to have level 7 smoke ? or frenzy level 5+ etc. you want a str build, you gotta make sacrifices for that power.
