D.v.D. -> An interesting thing (12/1/2011 22:10:53)

On the behave of Logic ism, I ask you a question.

Is this game suppose to be futuristic or the opposite?

A good example would be the Broomstick, it looks like something that came from the cowboys

and on the other hand, we have Plasma ACP which is way more high tech.

Is this game suppose to be high-tech or low-tech?To me, it seems like a mix of both.

Everything seems to have been made up in the last minute.

Would you believe....... it takes place.
A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....

Which brings up a question.
Why do we not have a classic light saber?

If it's so futuristic, why are we hacking away at each other with tools?
Why not just shoot each other?

FOR THE FUN OF THE GAME.
So it doesn't really matter.

Thylek Shran -> RE: An interesting thing (12/1/2011 22:38:06)

Its Pastaristic. A mix of past, future and uhm.. pasta !

D.v.D. -> RE: An interesting thing (12/1/2011 22:38:11)

But wouldn't futuristic weapons kill you instantly and musty old weapons only make a wound on you?

hmm.. maybe i should change the title to the logic discussion?

rej -> RE: An interesting thing (12/2/2011 7:30:46)

epicduel is supposed to take place in a more advanced civilization, but apperently, baelius's coming in the equivulant of an apocalypse. thus delta V is still in the throws of armageddon. Many of it's citizens have resorted to older ways. and THAT is why there is both low-tech and high-tech gear on delta V.

And why don't we ram people with bikes instead of challenging them directly? [:D]

Fay Beeee -> RE: An interesting thing (12/2/2011 8:44:38)

If you are in a world that has been devastated, surely logic follows that weapons would be made from what ever is available.

There may have been an underground store that survived.
Some would be quite technical (if parts were there for them)
Some would be 'made up' from thing lying around.
Either way a variety of things could be made.

People have a strong survival instinct.
We also have people that are 'gathers'. (able to access a variety of stuff to order)

Better question, why not just randomly shoot people instead of challenging them.
We have a medical bot in central station.
I say *loads and cocks SMG* open season.
