The Sword is +35 and seasonal rare.
The frost mutating one is RARE and +34

Is this a bug? How can a rare be weaker then a seasonal in damage?

Swords generally have either more stats or damage to offset the fact that you can't use some skills with a Sword while you can with class weapons. Think of it as a bonus for not getting to use all your skills with a sword.

It isn't a bug because the Frost Destroyer has a total of 36 stat modifiers, and it allows you to use class-specific skills. The Frost Slayer has 35 stat modifiers and you can't use class-specific skills with it. It has a higher varium price as well. The rarity of the Frost Destroyer actually says 'Limited-Rare', so we can't be sure whether it will return or not. Cinderella said that she will look into its rarity here.
