DeathGuard -> Class Changing (12/15/2011 20:28:28)

I have always say that class change just doesn't involves prices but for many reasons, pride and seek for power.
My question to you is what are the reasons you class changed? And if you haven't class change yet, explain the reason why you haven't.

My reason for not class changing is my pride, I lower my pride when it is needed or it is necessary to bow to someone superior to me, but in this case, we're in a game, and I have hold into my roots, the roots of an original Tech Mage, I don't even mind class changing in any moment, unless it is to the secondary class to it, Blood Mage.

Rules of this thread:
1.) Post your reason in a civil manner
2.) Don't make posts about other players who class changed to be oped.
3.) Share your opinions like people not mediocre.
4.) Enjoy this thread!

^ I havnt class changed since christmas last year,

Reason is the Bounty Hunter class is great alot of diffrent options to go.

Plus I dont want to get addicted to class changing like alot of people it becomes an expensive habbit.
SO if I ever class change it will be for 6 months minumum (or Until I get enough credits)

Xx. Christian .xX -> RE: Class Changing (12/15/2011 21:09:40)

I classed change over 50 times using credits and varium, i class change cuz i got bored with TLM i tried changing to tech mage which is fun to play like bm and cyber.

FrostHS -> RE: Class Changing (12/15/2011 21:16:01)

Make it so you can only change once a month. That will help with the TLM problem.

WhiteTiger -> RE: Class Changing (12/15/2011 21:16:45)

I've only ever changed class once, from Tech Mage to Tactical Mercenary quite some time ago. I truly loved being a TM and would change back the first chance I could, but I noticed I couldn't win in juggernaut battles. That was my main reason for switching to TLM, since I couldn't leave reroute behind and I wanted to be able to juggernaut successfully (or close to, at least). Contrary to popular belief, I did not change because the class was OP at the time.

Remorse -> RE: Class Changing (12/15/2011 21:33:10)

^
I too have only class changed once.

But you dont need 80% of the population to go TLMs to know their oped.

Im pretty sure as soon as you see their skill tree you know they are, I know I did and I knew balance for this phase was gonna suck as soon as I sore the picture of a TLMs Skills showing both hybrid and reroute.

Nub Apocalypse -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 0:50:21)

I class change rather regularly, I change whenever I get "bored" of a class. This may mean 1 day or half a year, but most of the time it's around a month. I try to experiment every possible fun yet good build and play with it, when i'm finished, I will class change. This, however, does not mean I will not change back to a class I already have been previously, because of the frequent releases of new weapons, I tend to be able to make new builds and thus class change yet again.

Agiluz -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 1:37:18)

I class changed to BM or CH when I wanna try some fun builds for myself, Unfortunately I always want to be a BH as soon as possible since I can't live without it and I can't feel the "REAL" me.

Angels Holocaust -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 1:52:34)

I've never class changed in my life. I find it pointless and a waste of money.

My Name is Jake -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 1:53:29)

I was a TM when I started and then I joined a 2v2 faction so I changed class to Merc because it was the best 2v2 class at the time (imo) then I changed to BH to try a high lvl EMP build for 2v2 then I left the faction so I changed back to TM then when TLM was released I changed because it had my favourite skill (reroute) and was good at 2v2 then I changed to BH to try it for a few battles and I didn't really like it so I changed back to TLM.

Find that hard to believe that you're a TLM. Or you use credits? :P

Remorse -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 3:25:31)

@ angel.

Good joke,
But i do agree its a waste of money to do it alot of times.
Though
Im pretty sure you went from being a borderline Opped BH in early stages in the game,
Then you switched to TM when the Heal looping came out.
Then finally the most oped class of all time TLM.

so its pretty bold to say youve never switched in you life.

What I find odd is you trick yourself into thinking that you never went an oped class or that the classes you used then werent ever oped.

If I were you I would just not care, so what if you switch to Oped classes its an option so why not?
No one really thinks diffrently about people who switch to oped builds so no need to be in denile.

TurkishIncubus -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 12:02:47)

I always change class, after i get 5-6k wins with 1 class it become boring so changing class give me something new to get fun.

goldslayer1 -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 17:17:10)

i class changed many times. and im somewhat glad i did, because it helped me get more knowledge of the game. this way when i hear someone calling a class OP, i can disagree because i beat them and done that with other classes.

aside from that i have class changed maybe 35-40 times (probably nearly 40)
my most recent changes were a couple days ago from tlm, to merc, then to tlm the day after merc.

and most of my class changes were made from boredom of trying something different than what i had.

i dont really know how some people cope with being the same class for months and months, some even years.

DeathGuard -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 17:33:07)

I got like 1 year and a half playing as a Tech Mage, I have enjoyed almost all the builds possible for the class, that's why I consider myself a bit pro.

@Angels: I didn't do this thread for tlms to get trolled, please keep unnecessary comments in this thread.
@The rest: One of the rules was not to criticized another forumer's post, I will be glad if you follow it.

@On topic: I read all the posts and many seek for fun, or they changed because of boredom. I think that are enough reasons to change.

Stabilis -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 17:40:40)

I'm about a 'large varium pack' worth of varium in class changing... and yet I'm still paying for previously owned classes... multiple times.

Lord Nub -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 18:01:20)

Yeah I've spent a ton also on class changes bu not because I was forced to do so. I do it for fun and experimentation. The only time I was forced was the release of TaM.

It was obvious the second I looked at it that it was overpowered and and that it was time for my year and a half old tech mage to retire, 60 human years btw so was about time anyway.

Angels Holocaust -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 21:28:24)

I may look like a tlm but I'm a BH at heart. I'm a BH trapped in a tlm's body.

Zean Zapple -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 22:41:52)

I will always be a BH, but I switched to Mercenary because I liked Bunker Buster and I wanted the Cheevo(this was the first week the feature came out)

FrostHS -> RE: Class Changing (12/16/2011 23:53:07)

@Angels oh yea? What about when you were a mage. Oh and when you kept saying BH was your biggest regret hmm? Yea, I thought so.

Retrosaur -> RE: Class Changing (12/17/2011 1:30:10)

I changed to Tac Merc the moment Delta came out, the moment before anyone knew how OP tac merc was. Ask Goldslayer1, as he actually helped to shape some of my builds. I was not a "copycatter". But unfortunately, things got out of hand, and before you knew it, tac merc was the most op class in game. (at least it helped me kill George Lowe :3). That's why I started an alt BH then switched to CH, to see how fun it was. It's definitely fun and awesome, but you can tell there needs to be more work done on the class to help it improve.

BadWitch -> RE: Class Changing (12/17/2011 19:00:25)

I started as a tech mage, i still love that class and sometimes i feel very bad that i became a tlm..and i will go back some day..The reason i changed class was that i was sick and tired that every 6 years old kid called me a noob coz he had the Op class(tlm)and varium to spend every week...I wanted to prove the fact that if i have same skills and good varium weps i can win the same... I am still a mage in my heart...

rej -> RE: Class Changing (12/18/2011 1:14:02)

The first time i changed class was from Mage to Mercenary so that i could win daily 2v2 champ (support Mercenary dominated at the time)
The second time i changed class was from Mercenary to mage (because Mercenary was... icky.)
The third time i changed was from Mage to Tactical Mercenary.

I have found no further need to switch classes.

TurkishIncubus -> RE: Class Changing (12/18/2011 2:45:35)

Another reason i change class,

When i cant beat a build, i simply change to it and see how other ppl beat it than change back to my original class :)

goldslayer1 -> RE: Class Changing (12/18/2011 3:03:08)

@turk
thats also partly why i class change. its to see battles from the other side.
the more experienced u are the better ur battles will be.
