dont give up -> gems and bombs (12/26/2011 11:51:14)

do you think its better if the war bomb and gems stack like in aqw. like gold item*29, something like that. but for ed it would be like gems = 307 war bombs = 400.
dont you think this way will save us more space? like for example if there is a new weps on this friday but jarithemighty cant buy 1 cus of his gems and war bombs he collected fill all his inventory.
know you might think use the war bomb? but he might save it for planing to win the hero war.
so what you think guys? support?[:D]
and if you dont like this idea pls explain
no flaming and hope you guys have a nice Christmas
oh and this go for booster too ;)

Many players have asked for item stacking and the DEVs have stated they are "working" on it or something comparable. As with all things ED, we are still waiting.

I think (not sure) the drop war bombs, and gems drop in the quest bag.

So no limit on what you can win.

BUT if you needed to buy a regular item, then you would have to use/sell.

Which is why stackable items are needed.

they tried coding this already, so far, they were unsuccessfull.that's why everyone got 10 free inventory slots

I had to sell all my gems and use all my bombs to prepare for getting a 10k Pack, Exile Armor, and Machine Blaster, so YES I LOVE YOUR IDEA!

Asked for stacking of boosters when they first came out. Is this really the best they could do since then? IMHO the free bag slots were to free up room so that players at their MAX bag limit, ie the biggest spenders, could buy more stuff and so that the missions could use bag spaces to carry stuff from here to there without players complaining they had to sell things to make room.

oh and y cant they stack if there all the same item. like if you buy weps u only want 1 version of that weapon, if not, 2 or more but if you do like other rich ppl who buy alot of same item like gama bot from ava i think its should be like gama bot = 120 save more space ;)
oh and if you want to sell it you could go to mirv and sell 10 item at the same time maybe?

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that better inventory management is definitely on our To-Do List. Unfortunately, with such limited coding time, we just need to find the opportunity and a good method of doing so.

Since it would require basically a complete rework of how inventory is stored, displayed, managed, sold, etc, this could potentially take a long time away from doing things that are considered higher priority. That said, I'm right there with you, we think it would be a good change, and is one I would enjoy working on.

@Hudelf thats great news and bad news all at once.

Bad news because complete overhauls tend to end up with bugs hiding in them but good news because the staff thinks it is a needed change.

Maybe you guys could set a week or two aside to working on that but throw out a head up in advance so no one is really upset if the update isnt that week. And seeing how alot of people support the change i dont think we would mind getting that for an update

Item stacking would be great, but it's really not a high priority.

Though i would really relish it if, somehow, there was a bug that allowed you to use all of the boosters in your inventory in a single fight. :3
