ND is right. Jari losing may be a wake-up call for the devs. Whatever the outcome is, I'm sure Jari will be having another crack at war hero again.

@Jekyll The war is ending soon though. I don't think Jari will have the time to farm enough bombs to win again. Unless he switches to Exile where you could win with 95K just about every day.

Sadly i don't find jari to be online now.I still think it's not right for a good player like him to lose like this.Hope the devs think really hard about what they did(create) a bombot which really is a bad idea. It would even give a chance against those who really worked hard to get to the top of the war board. It's just sad..... [:(]

I highly doubt Jari will give up so easily, besides he really just considers the achievement to be a bonus, his main goal was to reach a certain number of war kills before the war ended.

Also I highly doubt Jari would simply switch sides for any achievement, he and many of my other members have actually sacrificed getting rare achievements before, for the faction.

Which I Find Hard To Believe, Considering We Just Got New Missions Added, And The Bosses Still Remain.

I know that this may be quite obvious, but enhancements are at the heart of the pricing problem. They are the cause of all the pricing issues. Things like alterations to the amount of varium received in each package have been suggested previously but apparently things like that aren't feasible. I am amazed at how unprofessional all of the ED staff are by the way. They can't address simple issues like this. I had an idea. They should make things called 'enhancement tokens'. You can earn these from various missions which wouldn't be really easy. It could be something like 'kill the same NPC a certain amount of times'. AE does not control the in-game content, so I don't see why this shouldn't be implemented. If you actually care about the players, this issue should be dealt with. The varium option can remain, obviously. The other alternative is to make an easier way to farm credits (easier than the ice gem farming strategy).

Each enhancement token gives you one enhancement?

@wiseman: What were trying to say is the bombbot is just a abusive system which only allow those who pay win. Why not remove it and let some other hard working player get a chance at the war hero. I thought that they said it was possible for non var's to win war hero well guess that was wrong when they released the bombbot ruining every chance of a non var to win.

It would be nice if enhancements worked like that but I don't think it can be implemented very easily.

@ND: The 'easy' way is just to make more ways to farm credits from missions. Personally, that's how I would like to see missions work, with less focus on story. AQW is solely focused on story, but I feel like Epicduel has more potential in terms of its PvP so they should focus on PvP more. You have to admit, we love this game because of its addictive and fun PvP aspect.

Jari had enough war bombs to get over 10k more points if he wanted to, however it seems he wasn't able to make it back online in time due to unforeseen circumstances. Oh well, there's always next time, or maybe he wont worry bout it, who knows.

In any case I think the Varium system is pretty abusive as well, and it may be revamped for the next war. We have a few options, including an upgrade system that someone on the forum suggested, as well as lowering the amount of war points the super bombs give (2-3x instead of 4x).

Just some things to think about, however the war isn't really my department, so I can't make any promises.

enhancements add a large profit bonus to every new item sold. what reason would they have to scrap them?

I know the "peoples" reason. I mean a reason that a business would consider viable.

I do feel the pain like everyone else, once I've upgraded a few of my characters their is no chance I will have either the credits or
varium to fully enhance, I think my only fully enhanced characters are still using delta weapons and gear released around that time.

I just can't think of any way to change enhancements and maintain the same profits. my only suggestion is don't enhance yourself :)

i juzz saw a guy with both the achievement !! (krampus slayer and the other one )

y did they do this ??

now players will jump frm exile to legion or vise versa to get the achievements and complete the missions !!


dont u guy think this is unfair for the players who r FOUNERS !!, they can never get the other achievement !

just a note for everyone looking for varium through bombs: hank and valestra have missions as well, and they both have a mission which gives a super bumb (not side specific) this gives you 3 super bombs total (or 4 if you change side :s)

I start thinking CH is getting even more powerful than TLM was, ironically they say it won't be as tanky as TLM but what do I see here? 32 + 34 Primal damage with both Res and Def 35+ and still have 40+ Sup. Funnily TLM and CH is OP in very different way: while TLM is very strong because every skills it has combine perfectly with another, CH is very strong because it has best skill tree root and all of its skill is very good - it only lacks 1 thing, a Passive to keep it stable, and this release gave CH that.
Also + Res Passive is a lot more powerful than + Def passive because it won't have any problem with Block.

@BB so last update that gave Varium you got about 16 now you can get 21 to 28 more thats enough for a new Varium helm sweet

yup, and with the last updates, you don't even have to colaborate to get one (though i'm not sure the 50 var ones are within reach)lemme see:

- outlaw elite: 11 var
- light bazooka: 5 var
- war bombs: 21/28 var

odd, tought there was more :s anyway

-OneX6 key: 16 var

total =>53/60 var, enough for 1 50 var helmet, 2 25 var helmets or (i think xD) 1 enhancement
