a cool feature that could be put into ED is Lvl Changing (via retrain)

Short explanation: lets u change lvls to a lower lvl than u currently are.

Long Detailed explanation:
this would basically let u change ur lvl into a lower lvl than u currently are.
and let u fight as that lvl. (and can only equip gear withing that lvl range)

PROS:
1) lets u change ur lvl
2) gives u that old feeling of being a low lvl
3) lets u stay away of lvl cap balance
4) allows u to wear low lvl gear.
5) would revive the old art NW put in the for low lvl gear.
6) let u experience a different side of balance as lower lvl. aswell as new experience.
7) let u use different strategies and build as u have less stats, and less skill points as lower lvl.
8) can be another way for ED to create revenue. (say 100-200 var for a lvl change?

CONS:
1) might somewhat be abused.

questions to the forumities.

1) if u were a developer of epicduel, would u implement this idea ingame?
2) as a gamer, would u like to see nice game additions/improvements like these?
3) Could changing ur lvl help u to not deal with current lvl cap balance?
4) should there be a way to freeze ur experience gain so u dont lvl up after changing?
5) aside from what i listed here, what other advantages or good things could this feature have?
6) overall what do u think of this idea?

Now i dont know if many of u read all of this. but please DO NOT post things like "supported" "not support" or "agreed"

NOTE: to the aks and mods. this isn't a suggestion, i would just like to hear forum members thought on things that may improve the game.

NOTE: i have suggested this before aswell. this isn't the first time.

If that happen i will play at 25 lvl with full betas [:D] and will not buy varium again.

Thats why developers will not do it.

yes, just not this one

if it could, there would be difficulties finding an opponent in cetain level ranges

I would actually want to restart my exp, go back to level one but keeping all my items, battle record... a cheevos etc. Its getting really boring at level 34 ^^

But being able to jump around the levels.. meh, I dont know if I'd like that.

Not really. We have wasted enough time as it is on things we don't need. Having said this, there are features being
suggested that do sound like great ideas for this year (but not this one).

Not really. You're going to get your skull beaten inwards at whatever level.

Nope. It's a waste to ruin the effort you've already made in getting to level 34.

It sounds amusing, but on a scale of things this game needs, I would rate this at less than useful.

I don't really see the point in implementing something like this. Obviously, people make an effort to level up so that they are NO LONGER IN THE LOW LEVEL SECTION. Not only that, but you have also put in hours of effort to make it to what level you are now. I don't see a reason as to why we should throw this away. Now don't get me wrong. It would definitely be fun to do this, and it sounds great. However, this game needs things that stray FAR AWAY from the direction you're looking in. It's definitely a good idea for the future, but with the way I see the future releases this year coming along, we need to focus on the game and not something like this.

Redundant? Those 7 could be combined to simply say; allows you to experience low lvls again. Let's try not to distort people's perceptions by contrasting the pros and cons.

Not somewhat, it will be abused a LOT. Like Turkish said, I would just stay at lvl 25 with my Founder Armour and Beta Weapons and win most of the time, unless these battles won't count towards records. Also, a full varium at lvl 20 who is experienced can easily achieve ratios of 95%+, thus ruining the standards of 2vs2 ratios in the current metagame.

Absolutely not.

I'm happy with anything that wouldn't cause a sudden radical change in the game like this one.

No, this is almost the same as changing your lvl, just only abusable by people who will create new characters to destroy balance.

To me, this idea sounds like you wanted to find a way to abuse wins and tried to cover it up with a list of "fun" reasons.

So, I could potentially go down to like level 10 being a Tac Merc/Cyber Hunter/Blood Mage with the best gear for a level 10, fully enhanced, with an armor, and beat up level 15 nonvars, and get epic amounts of EXP and Creds per very easy battle?

This would do nothing for balance since everyone with Founder or just plain Beta Gear would dominate the lower levels and cause an undefeatable problem for the lower levels. This would skewer ratios even worse than NPCs ever will.

bad idea, not worth making and if u want to experience low lvls just make a new acc u have 6 slots to make 6 different account in 1 master account. that means 6 account. it will be heavily abused and it would make low lvls suffer. new comers would get trashed like hell and the would quit.

Absolutely 100% not.

every gamer wants to see improvements in game but as for me i rather have balance.

No. i find it useless and a waste of coding and space if it gets implemented because the varium players would dominate the game even more. non variums at low lvls cant lvl up decently and are either forced to play only npc or spam 2v2 button hopping they would get a good partner. this idea would basically smash all low lvl players.

No.

only can think of the bad things. your idea is about the same as making a new character.

No, at least not this exact idea, perhaps a "prestige" options, allowing you to keep items, battle records & achievements, but reset your experience to 0. Once you get to level 34 again, you may prestige again, up to 5 times total.
A reward for doing this would be an achievement that upgrades for each prestige level you gain (up to 5), starting at 1000 rating, finishing at 5000 rating points (It is a lot, but getting to level 34 5 times is no small feat).

Yes, i would love to see many more additions that somewhat altar the game we play, as long as we can also play it as normal.

No, i don't like the 'Choosing your level' idea.

Most definitely not, this is a recipe for abuse, E.g. level 11 Founders with max enhancements, or the same at level 25.

Prestige Mode for rewards/awards.

I think it has potential, but as of yet I would not want it.

^ haha yeh lol i already have noobs and play them i know exactly how hard it is for low levels leveling up i do not want to waste creds changing levels . you would get more losses then you would have got staying at the same level

Freeze? then there will be no need of creating a new lvl... And they need to make a promo for all Levels...

Maybe adding 10 levels will be great and we will catch with AQW and creating another 3 classes it will be great (more builds/more noising/ more troubles) they will need more mods (i'm here [:)])

I think this idea would just promote Juggernaut to the best game mode to earn credits. you could use lower level varium gear, fully enhance and won't
run the risk of facing anyone else with varium. would be horrible for players trying to level, facing a full varium Juggernaut every other fight.
also all game modes would be effected for the same reasons, full varium players farming non-vars.

I suggested an NPC for switching off EXP gains so that you could continue earning credits at your current level until you were ready to move on, which
could of helped players who overspent while levelling. but ofc you get the same problem and that's why I never really believed it would be considered.

both ideas would increase sales of lower level varium items for sure, but at the expense of a load of potential customers who would stop playing.

It would cause a large number of players to change to lower levels while maintaining their massive credit and varium advantages over true low levels, thus causing more low level players to quite, thus negatively effecting the game.
6) overall what do u think of this idea? No.
