I have played AE games since the only game they had was AQ. In all their games rares very rarely come back. There are very few exceptions. Next year you can expect different items. It is possible they may bring back one but I would be surprised.

Seasonal rares may come back with the season. However, they may not, as the TLAPD items from last year are examples of that.

I cleared my cache and I still can't see the Ebilcorp Executive Suit in item preview or equipped. It's already on the wiki but the pictures won't even load for me. Am I the only one with this problem?

Does an item tagged rare become permanently rare? I know ultra rare ones do but what about just rare?

@above: yes, rares also become permenantly rare.

@doomturtle: most of the pvp super powers and legendary powers are good. The SC powers are also pretty good. If you're a member, super speed can be a handy power in certain builds.

For Pete's sake, are there any non-member, non-SC powers in the game I don't need PVP for?
With my current set (Brain Freeze, Episkea, Frozen Doom, Frozen Wrath, Warrior's Spirit) it's nigh impossible to beat anyone.

there's plenty of powers in places like the power academy. Though most of the good ones do come from pvp...
i recommend you to just keep pvp-ing till you have enough tokens to get something good

1. no special rewards for being first to beat ebilcorp since HS had a smaller margin to complete compared to the other games
2. April 28th i believe is the birthday of HS, but alpha started on december 7th

Ik he doesn't work for AE any more, but I'm sure he made herosmash. If a mod reads this, can they confirm who made herosmash please? Or at least who founded it.

Xyo did help as an artist for HeroSmash. However he was not the 'founder'. Remember each game is a team effort. I will say that Yergen's unique brand is VERY prominent in HS, and leave it at that.
