Cookielord12 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/25/2012 14:04:49)

I think so as i have never purchased any smashcoin packages but purchased a 3 month membership + 1k coins and got the dark vengeance.

Van Fanel -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/25/2012 14:14:41)

@Nupsyk: Horror is a power that attacks your enemy. Not that good in my opinion

@Red Ghost: Only if you got the VIP membership by paying for HS. And you need to have spend at least 49.95$ to get access to the good/evil shop

Question Mark? -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/25/2012 14:55:11)

Nupsyk: More specifically, horror does light mental damage and applies a mental DoT.
It is useful for PvP when combined with certain other powers that boost mental damage and do mental DoT.
It can, therefore, be quite useful, but only under the correct circumstances.

Neo Flare -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 0:49:35)

If i buy the 20,000 smash coin package will i get the binsoku set?

Antithesis -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 1:02:41)

^Nope, you need to buy the 6000 AC package, or whichever package is labeled!

Van Fanel -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 5:08:47)

Like Antithesis said, only the 6,000 AC package comes with the Binsoku set

Nupsyk -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 15:06:42)

Where (or how) can i find ultimate superdeath?

EDIT: And i have this quest called "taddle tell" how am i supposed to complete it?

Cookielord12 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 15:09:34)

What is a good build for Battle Royale? I can't seem to win a game. (I'm level 20)

Postmaster General -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 15:15:59)

@Nupsyk: You can follow the exact story line in the HALdroid, but you've got to defeat Super Death in the previous areas of that saga before you can face him. But we are also aware that there are currently bugs that will prevent moving on in some areas of those quest lines.

@Cookielord12: I recommend "...of the Physical", Super Intellect, Siphon Life and if you can, some Legendary Powers to be able to hit hard, and regain health without actually using heal abilities.

Chuck the Awesome -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/28/2012 18:47:50)

2 questions
1) if you lower an opponents haste to 100% than will they be stunned
2) what are some strong debuffers that last over a fair amount of time
Thanks
~Chuck Awesome

plebster -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/29/2012 2:16:57)

@above 1) I heard that haste can only be nerfed or buffed by 90%

2) you are on about haste debuffers, right? If you are, then chudling rash, taser, gravity warp.
If you at on about damage debuffers, then sarin grenade is the best.

mysticgohan1184 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/29/2012 21:37:25)

I am new to Hero Smash, I have started a few days ago. currently my character is only lvl 12. I wanted to know if my skill set is okay. Also feel free to give advice n a good build for low lvl players especially around my lvl since there seems to be little info on what skill are available and good for people below lvl 15.

Is this a decent skillset? Atomic Smash (lvl10), Healing touch (lvl12), Irradiate (lvl10), Mutate (lvl12), Warrior Spirit (lvl 10)

If this set is not good, could u pleas offer some recommendations? thanks for your help and advice in advance.

Postmaster General -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 0:20:19)

@mysticgohan1184: It kind of depends on what you're trying to do. If you just want to play through the game, it's been awhile since I brought this out, but here is my generic power build:

quote:

First off, is a necessity: Healing. No matter what strategy you use, healing will buff you up big time. The best healing power in game so far is Life Force. I have it at level 9 and get around 600 regularly, but have gotten critical hits up to 1000. If you're not a member, Molecular Reconstruction at level 15 can easily do 200-300 healing everytime.

Next is your power-hitter attack. You need at least one powerful attack that can deal heavy damage, and preferably at very little Energy cost. I use the Lightning attack in Spears shop, but the Giant attacks and several others work well too.

DoT's or Damage of Time attacks, are important for improving your Damage per turn. I suggest Radiation attacks or Fire attacks, but you can choose your own there.

Then you'll need a support ability that compliments your power hitter, something that gives you that extra edge. Fire, Ice, Radiation, and Lightning. They all have an element alignment. Each element also has a support power that increases the damage done by that type of attack. Pick one of those up. (i.e. Thunderous Rage for Lightning, Frozen Core for Ice, etc.)

Your fifth power is up to you. Some good powers would be Super Speed, which increases your frequency of attacks, or Super Intellect, which raises effects of mental abilities. Personally, I use Uncanny Focus which greatly regenerates energy. If you're not a member, Focus will do more or less the same thing.

Those would be your ideal powers. Good luck!

Note that this build was created before the release of Legendary Powers, and once you are able to get those, they are useful, but this basic framework should suit you at your level.

If you're trying to PvP, the focus will be a little different.

As for what you have currently, Warrior Spirit is definitely a keeper, and you seem to fit in this build pretty well, but I would still recommend Molecular Reconstruction, or Life Force if you're a member.

mysticgohan1184 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 0:29:04)

Thanks a lot for the advice Sheriff Duncan. I am a member.

So is molecular reconstruction or life force is better than healing touch?

plebster -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 2:26:54)

Nah, go wih healing touch. Here is a good build: super intellect (get one of the SC versions), healing touch, psychosis, horror, warrior spirit.

Or: mutate (only if it's he version which heals you), unstable, warrior spirit, pulsar beam, radiating hands.
Radiativ hands is the only attacking build in this one, it will do good DoT so spam it and make sure the other skills are kept going as well. Pulsar beam is for the haste.

The best PvP build for a non-lvl 20 member is probably: warrior spirit, animal fury, claw, metallic skin, and crosscut/vampire bite/brain freeze/foresight. But most of these powers have gone rare.

Or
For farming: frozen core, warrior spirit, brain freeze, impledimentia, and vampire bite. Impledimentia is rare now though.

CrownedPrince -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 3:40:58)

@mysticgohan1184:

To answer your question,

Molecular Construction consumes a lot of Energy and has a bad cool-down for its small quantitative heal.

Life Force heals almost a full health ranging from 700-1000+ but has long cool-down.

Healing Touch has a 13 seconds cool-down and heals for a moderate amount.

Conclusion: Get Healing Touch for looping heal, Life Force for a one time big time heal.

Depending on your choice of build.

Cookielord12 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 10:45:03)

Pandoras grace or surge is better?

CrownedPrince -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 11:42:32)

@Cookielord12:

Pandora's Grace (60 seconds cool down and and 60 energy consumption) is an independent skill. The skill itself is killer which reduces attacks by 60% and lasts for about 10 seconds with a full health heal. I would only recommend it in 1v1. It's obviously bad to use it in Team Brawl. It CAN be applicable in Power Defense and in Battle Royale, but you do need to have back-up for that long cool down. A haste-buffer, another heal or the sorts. You get the point.

Surge (20 seconds cool down and 41 energy consumption) is an dependent skill yet it can also be independent having a good random heal range from 300-900+ (not accurate), but you won't release the full potential of the skill without equipping other energy powers.

Basicball -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 14:20:54)

How do you change color scheme?

Cookielord12 -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 14:23:14)

/join mainstreeteast
Go into Beleens shop and click the mirror

Spongebuddy -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 18:42:28)

What is the best way to collect fame?

Antithesis -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (3/30/2012 18:53:15)

@Spongebuddy:

At higher levels or in a group, it seems that killing Shadow Monsters at /join deathitude and selling what they drop is an effective way to earn fame. Selling the drops immediately tends to work better.

Basically:

1) Type /join deathitude
2) Go to where all the other players are
3) Attack whatever they attack
4) When something drops, click "Yes"
5) Go back to the main room and sell it to either Astroman or Twi
6) Lather, rinse and repeat
7) ???
8) PROFIT!!!

DeathGuard -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (4/1/2012 16:12:06)

I got an item called blade piece, what do I do with it?

kreem -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (4/1/2012 18:29:54)

which is better the lvl 19 precision non mem and non sc or the member only precision lvl 15

Van Fanel -> RE: =HS= HeroSmash Q&A (4/1/2012 20:46:38)

@DeathGuard: It's a requirement for the repair shop at /join ruins

@kreem: the lvl 19 precision should be better since it's level is higher
