As an MC bonus, it can inflict the monster with Thermal Shock. You have a (berserker multiplier to damage) * (# of hits that connected)/3 *11.53% chance of inflicting it. The monster can resist with a save:

The monster has a +0 bonus to its save. Fire-element monsters are immune to this.

So you pay more if it does more damage, but don't get a refund if it does less damage?
Also, what is the formula for HP cost, in the case of insufficient MP?

That's for HP so whatever you don't have from MP, it'll take that from HP. So if you need 300 MP then it'll substract 200 HP instead.

And formula is there too.. You pay base MP required and you pay whatever you need for the boost, so your spell deals appropriate damage for the MP spent on it. Less damage = less MP, more damage = more MP. Simples.

Did you buy it when it was 1000Z-Tokens? The game keep tracks of Z-Token purchases and changes the Sellback price according to the Purchase price you bought it at. - Dragoon23

    @IMR: Which shop is the candy corn tempest with? Because its not in the shop with the other candycorn spells.
