Ok, how about this, in order to fire a cannon you have to win 100 random fights to unlock the ability to fire the Mortar, and it gets the same war kills as normal.
300 random fight wins unlocks the Heavy Turret.
700 random fight wins unlocks the Artillery Barrage.
1,000 random fight wins unlocks the Goliath Cannon.
1,600 random fight wins unlocks the use of the Satellite Destroyer.

NPC wins will not count towards unlocking the faction weapons.

after you achieve 1,600 random fight wins and unlock them all, you can fire each one once. after that,
10 wins to use the Mortar once more.
30 wins to use the Heavy Turret once more.
70 wins to use the Artillery Barrage once more.
100 wins to use the Goliath Cannon once more.
160 wins to use the Satellite Cannon once more.

Again, NPC wins will not count towards the quota of wins.

Do you mean 300 wins as a faction for heavy turret or individual to unlock?

I quite like how you have to unlock them by doing PvP fights, especially excluding NPCs from it which are usually much easier than PvP itself.
Although to fire again, I feel like numbers for all are a bit low since wins can come by easier at different Levels or different players would get more out of it (active as opposed to non-active), not forgetting the competition.

Also would you unlock, at let's say 30 wins, Heavy Turret AND Mortar or would wins be like "Cannon Tokens" - you have 30 Cannon Tokens and you can either fire Mortar three times or Heavy Turret once? I like the idea nevertheless! :)

each faction member has to get the requisite amount of wins to unlock the cannons.

@ trans i like the sound of cannon tokens.
every win you get will count for one cannon token, and each cannon will require a certain amount of cannon tokens
to fire it once.

the amount of wins needed to fire the cannons will have to be adjusted in order to make it fair for all players.

How about this?


1v1: 1 Faction Token, 2% Chance to drop 125 Faction Token Jackpot.

2v2/Juggernaut: 3 Faction Tokens, 5% Chance to drop 125 Faction Token Jackpot.

Glad to know you like the "Cannon Tokens" idea. [:D]
Since it'd need Tokens and you could pick one only and spend all Tokens, I think numbers you gave for Cannons are fine as they are. :P
