No, it actually depends if the person donated alot of tokens. Right now, factions don't lose influence even if you kick anyone. The only thing is, if he's inactive and just does 1 win and you want to kick him out, the tokens he donated on that flag immediately disappears and cannot be returned to the owner or no longer belongs to the faction.

I have to ask though, how often would you find someone 'holding' a spot in your faction by getting 1 win every few weeks? It just sounds like a really rare scenario to me. The other thing is that the player doesn't actually get anything out of it, he actually ends up on the losing end because he just wasted a whole lot of tokens. Honestly, to me it really comes down to the tokens VS the spot. I'd assume that most factions that have a flag would have at least a good 'core' of loyal players who are able to replace those tokens that this person donated. This also goes back to being able to recruit someone else as well to take that spot and donate tokens.

^It is actually reasonably common, SMGS. If an active player were to have a grudge with a faction leader, a simple way to harass them would be to use an alt and have it join the faction.

Or they could do it for their own sake, like if a player got into an extremely prestigious faction and did not want to back down for the sake of keeping their title.

But even then, wouldn't it be fairly easy to just kick the player, lose the tokens and get a new guy to take over and donate the tokens? In my point of view, it just looks like you never recruited the player in the first place if that happened.

@Above

I agree. I mean, couldn't you just recruit someone and after they get 5000 (Random high Number) wins, remove them? As long as they didn't donate any tokens, no penalty.
Factions are revolved more around tokens now.
