ConQrR -> All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 20:12:43)

.... If we dont like the new weapons. We gain just a locker key?

At least we should have an achievement or something. What do you think?

Stabilis -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 20:17:10)

I think that you should complain, but not now. After the Infernal Infiltration has concluded and the weapons are still paralleled by today's average weapons... then... then I would complain.

fhiz -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 20:17:23)

A nice locker shaped achievement would be nice. I don't like anything in the shops at the moment, but they will get new things added to them.

Guppy -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 20:49:44)

An achievement in the shape of our Key with the sign of our side would be nice (Exile or Legion), but stop complaining. Sheesh [8|]

Jekyll -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 21:04:10)

I hope the key will be refundable like the OneX6 Key. (though I still wouldn't sell it, unless for ~100 varium, unlikely though)

Yes please. Since I already bought the Infernal Slayer sword, the new items in the shop are a bit useless. Spending over an hour working for a useless shop is a bit depressing.

Renegade Reaper -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/17/2012 23:37:23)

you guys DO know that more weps will be added to the shops during the war right?

Lord Nub -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 0:33:18)

Screw weapons.

Where are the new modes to play? Features such as tournaments or group chat? New skills to work with further advancing some sort of strategy element to a so called strategy based PvP game?

Why are we stuck with this same redundant gameplay still with the only thing to look forward to are weapons which are purchased to do the same exact thing?

Increase the freakin player base with something to do. Weapons do not bring new players to the table nor do they bring back the old players. A select few are brought back for something to do but then they also end up quitting permanently eventually after seeing there is just nothing new ever added to the table.

Sure, one can say don't like it don't play it blah blah blah or it takes time to do these things or it's just not within their capabilities. There is always an excuse but I personally can't stand watching the game do nothing but lose players consistently.

Why is so much focus in weapon releases and these EXTREMELY boring missions? Do people really enjoy missions or is it perhaps a few inactives that enjoy them for a few credits or battle tokens or perhaps hoping for something that isn't there?

Come on...end rant

Lord Machaar -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 8:44:14)

Yes, @Conqrr is right, u know why, because we spent like 5 or 4 weeks gathering all those blueprints. and yeh, when i get the key, for the first time, i thought the shop gonna be nice... and it wasn't, sometimes, a Weapon with good stats and bad looking, is better than a weapon with bad stats and good looking, I know you wanted to show us, that Disturbed knows how to draw, and u just wanted to show his skills, but not in a such an occasion like this, because we were looking for something powerful, and Exclusive.

So i hope New "Items", that will be added to the shop, will be Worthy.

Seijuurou -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 10:26:49)

We haven't seen the gun yet.

ansh0 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 10:47:25)

We haven't seen the Infernal war yet

ND Mallet -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 11:33:10)

@lord M Cindy specifically stated in the DNs on the 6th I believe it was that many of the weapons were going to be non varium and some would be varium.

Once again I want people to make up their minds. Do you want more powerful weapons each release that outdate the previous weapons in the game and thus require you to buy new weapons to stay on top, or do you prefer actually going through a weapon release without having to buy something new to be on top?

I just enjoy buying rares, but I only buy the better ones. So I would like if they were stronger then previously released weapons, but that doesn't always happen since there's not only higher level players in the game. Gotta think about them newbies. [8|]

friend18 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 18:22:16)

Personally I think that the weapons in the shop are GREAT! Similar stats to delta weapons (which I was unable to obtain since I've only been playing for almost three months now). Sure, they have 1 less skill point, but by the time level 35 comes out, they'll be better than the delta weapons!

If you guys think about it, doing the missions wasn't a waste. You have several missions added to your mission completed list on your character page too o.O

Also, asking for ridiculously powerful weapons would leave everyone behind. Most games fail because of their inability to scale the item stats properly, leading to many players quitting, unable to keep up with the constant onslaught of new, significantly overpowered weapons. The Delta Knight armor should have kept you guys happy enough. It's the best armor atm and the stat points are ridiculous on it.

Additionally, if you think about it, the non-varium players are being left far behind. The higher level weapons cost a TON of credits and since most non-varium players don't play as often as varium players, they don't have as many credits. In this case, they end up getting bored quickly because they don't win as often (AND this also happens because MANY players don't know how to make an effective build, even varium players).

I propose that the EpicDuel staff team release weapons with maybe one additional stat point overall than "average" level 34 weapons and also increase the damage by one. But that's it, otherwise, the level 35 weapons will be too overpowered. I also would think that it's best to slowly release weapons. There is no point in releasing a ton of weapons that have slightly different stat point combinations.

Lord Machaar -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 19:38:32)

@The ND Mallet Guy
"a Weapons with good stats and bad looking, is better than a weapon with bad stats and good looking."
I didn't say they must release powerful weapons that will outdate previous ones, but at least some weapons that we can use in battle not just stock it in our "Inventory", i know there will be more adds, but u don't know how much the first bunch of loads means to us, because we were waiting for this shop for like 5 weeks or 6, so we deserve something simply Worthy.

friend18 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/18/2012 21:37:45)

They were worthy. They were weapons on the same (or even greater) level as the Delta weapons. At level 35, these weapons are even better than the delta weapons o.O

rayniedays56 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 3:37:03)

The new weapons are awesome. I use the Exile Varium Claws (forgot name) with my tech abusive Cyber Hunter and it is AMAZING! :P

Lord Machaar -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 7:40:02)

@friend18
You just said it, it just looks exactly like Delta Weapons, what's the speciality in that? in my opinion, nothing special, As far as i know, there isn't only 1 build or two, or that's what they thought, if they want to please everyone, they must put some weapons, for every kind of build, to abort, as i call it builds racism... if the popularity of players is using a "Certain" build, u need to release weapons especially just for this build, if it's worthy for you, then it's not for Me. so i hope this "Shop" will be worthy for everyone...

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 10:06:29)

Also there is a chance of adding mroe gear to those lockers as the war progresses but for now if you cannot get the promo to be top dog you can at least get the Locker gear which, as friend18 pointed out, they have one less stat modifier then the Delta weapons, and it comes down to one enhancement slot because it has two less enhancements then Delta but one more stat modifier, and one more damage.

My advice to anyone reading this who cannot shell out $50 to get the latest and greatest promo is to get one of these weapons.

Now from my point of view this shop is worthless because I have almost always used a staff, the exception is the frost scimitar which i used to defeat George Lowe and Charfade, so getting two swords feels like im back in Gamma or even Beta where F2P's only got swords and Varium users got Class Specific weapons

zion -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 11:31:32)

@OWA
Totally agree, for now. Hopefully some useful sidearms/auxes/armors will be added for f2p.
But with the crazy enhancement prices, it seems a f2p will always lag way too far behind... even with decent swords.

friend18 -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 13:15:36)

@Lord Machaar - Those blades will be the best wrist blades for bounty hunters, once level 35 is released. That's great because before then, the only other option many players had were the wraith reavers. This gives many players a chance to run a decent bounty hunter build and not lose out on stat points. What build would you prefer to have the weapons tailored to? The axe is perfect for support builds and the staff is great for caster builds.

fhiz -> RE: All those mission for nothing? (6/19/2012 16:55:38)

The staff is by far the best thing in the shop, but I'm a tactical mercenary and the club does not fit by build at all. It's only use is a strength build and it's not very good at that. +10 support is great however it's useless with the relatively high strength and dex requirements when a support build should have minimal strength and have more tech rather then dex. I'd much prefer if the club had a 30 support requirement and put the support modifiers elsewhere. A support requirement would be better because it would allow mercs to use adrenaline and tlm's to use frenzy while still keeping they're total support relatively low. The claws? Well I was never any good with hunters but they look okay for a....focus build maybe?

Aside from all that....The weapons look AWESOME! Great job disturbed. It's just unfortunate that precious few are going to use them due to the average/sub par stats and requirements.
