After they changed all of the weapons in the game, the high level weapons--31 to 35--are much too under powered since they didn't make these better.
Example: HyperTalon, SpecOps Pistol, Overlord Cannon, and Neutron Blaster now have less stat mods and cost way more than that of guns and aux lower level than them, and are weaker with embudurance since they're higher level.
Machine Pistol (level 29, costs 9000 credits) VS HyperTalon (level 31, costs 12,000 credits)
Machine Pistol:
+32 damage, +4 dex, +8 supp, 5 enh
HyperTalon:
+31 damage, +4 dex, +4 tech, +2 supp, 4 enh

I've also noticed that a lot of the varium weapons weren't changed either and are now worse than some credit weapons. And even if they aren't worse, without enhancements they are almost no better than credit weapons.
Carrierzooka (level 31, costs 12,500 credits) VS Warlord Blaster (level 31, costs 12,000 credits and 995 varium)
Carrierzooka:
+36 damage, +4 str, +4 dex, + 5 tech, 8 enh
Warlord Blaster:
+36 damage, +3 dex, +6 tech, +3 supp, 4 enh

And now just compare the new weapons if there were no such thing as enhancements:
Crystal Laser Sword or Death Flame Sword (level 35, costs 14,000 credits) VS Crystal Axe or Death Flame Axe (level 35, costs 12,000 credits and 995 varium)
Swords:
+35 damage, +12 str, +7 dex, + 7 supp
Axes:
+35 damage, +9 str, +8 dex, +10 supp
That's 1 total stat mod apart: 26 mods to 27 (Although I know the credits weapons are swords, the axes still cost you 995 varium!!!)

There are way more examples of unbalanced weapons after they had changed all of them. It is seriously not fair and many times can waste you a lot of money.
What do you guys think?

Yes I agree with this, but I'm pretty sure over time the prices will change :]

Machine pistol might be a bug, but swords are specifically more powerful since they lock you out of many skills.

If weapons didn't cost 900+ varium then this wouldn't be an issue because you aren't paying $4.50+ for a non enhanced weapon that is just slightly better.

Wow, machine pistol looks pretty good.

Yes, I've noticed that older varium weapons are indeed weaker than they should be compared to newer, rarer non varium items. Hopefully, either the varium weapon are brought up to standard, or the non varium overcharged items are weakened.

I dont remember when the Warlord Blaster came out but I do know that the Carrierzooka is a rare weapon from the time that rares got a buff which could explain its power

The prices could be smaller whether it be the item itself or enhancements, but the fact that some free-2-play items are nearly touching some pay-2-play items in terms of "power" is justified in my opinion. Make the gap implode!

I'm sorta glad that credit items are on par with varium items, and sometimes better. You shouldn't be able to buy your victory, however, the level part is a problem. There shouldn't be better items at a lower level than something that's level 33+.


I'm awfully tired, so, forgive me if I completely missed the point of this thread.

You could add Frostbite Blaster and skullfire Blaster because I tested both with the strength I have and without deflection the total damage on each one was less than 20 this was on players with low defense or low resistance.

Note that swords are also used by every class, whilst an axe, for example, is limited only to the mercenary classes. That may explain the price.
In any case, I agree with you, the price scaling is broken.
