For a very short time, yes. Legion always manage to catch up in that interval as there are not enough exiles to compensate for the shield. Of course there are other reasons why legion can sometimes pull ahead.

The shields are the same for both alignments. If either alignment pulls too far ahead a shield or handicap is applied.

I really don't like that handicap. No real point of being penalized for winning but it's too late to change it I guess.

@Mr. Black OP, Yeah, but Legion has too many players so they needed to balance it somehow, otherwise everyone would just fight for Legion and it would become increasingly more uneven.

@rej It's always been there. It was there in the first vault too but it didn't stop Legion much.

Ok, I need some sleep, be back in around 5 or 6 hours. If Legion are still leading when I get back I will not be in a good mood, getting up at 3:30 am is bad enough.

So it's basically a countdown timer...Whoever is leading when the Vault HP gets down to 0 will win...Hmmm...Interesting...I suggest we keep a bit under Legion, not too much of course so that they get a handicap :D I wonder what happens if 2 players, both from different sides threw a Grenade that delivered the finishing blow at the exact same time. Both people's computers are just as fast so the data gets in the network at the exact same time, exact same millisecond. Who wins then?

The shield only starts up when the difference is around 30,000+, I don't know the exact number. We should try to stay around 10-20 thousand ahead of the Legion.

i don't see the vault's shield actually doing anything to slow legion down after the new grenades were made buyable.
