Renegade Reaper -> character styles (7/26/2012 2:49:55)

heres how the current style system works..
you pay varium or credits for a style, and if you want to make even a tiny change, you have to pay for it all over again.

heres how my idea for the style system would work..
all styles would be purchasable for credits only. however you would still have to pay for these styles over and over again,
like the current system. but you would also be able to buy a style with varium, enabling you to change that style for free
whenever you wanted to. perhaps it would add an option to change that style. it may be next to inventory. for example..

style change>purchased styles>change look

there would be a button next to inventory which says style change. if you have not purchased any styles with varium,
you will receive a message saying you cannot use this button, as you have not purchased any styles with varium yet.
however, if you have purchased a style with varium, the screen will change to something like what you see in the
character customization screen, but a little different. and from this screen you will be able to change the style you have
purchased, and you can change looks for free, but only for this style.

or maybe the entire customization screen, only available at npc's at this time, could be moved to the normal screen
you see when moving around. or it could stay where it is, but these changes could be made to it.

i think i have explained pretty well, but it is late here, so please tell me if it makes sense lol.. [;)]

thanks for the read guys!

It kind of just sounds like what we have now except you can change colors a bit faster. I think a better idea would to just have hairstyles purchase able that you can change to anytime and change colors with credits. Unless that's your idea, I'm a bit confused.

The system for buying hairstyles you have is good for us, but bad for AE. Instead of paying varium every time, you pay varium only once.

Because of this, i doubt your plans will ever be implemented, but I do support them.

Renegade Reaper -> RE: character styles (7/26/2012 12:35:20)

AE not getting 25 varium for a style change is bad for them? have you noticed that grenades are buyable with varium? have you noticed that the newest blades are 1500 varium?
how exactly is taking the varium out of style change (except to permanently purchase a style) a bad thing for AE?

DRAGONHUNT -> RE: character styles (7/26/2012 14:15:30)

Supported.

But I doubt that it would really get implemented.

You're not thinking about how those 25's add up. I checked my spending log like a year ago, and I had spent like 2k varium on styles. Derp...

Changing styles with varium = moneyzz

AE loves moneyzz

Therefore AE loves changing styles with varium

DestructingM -> RE: character styles (7/26/2012 17:20:32)

Why not get implemented? If you want to change only specific things, instead of buying for 25 variums, you can buy it for a smaller fee, and every change requires more. If whole head is changed, 25 variums are needed. How about that?

Commander X -> RE: character styles (7/27/2012 13:16:08)

Why don't they just make color changing free. But choosing a hairstyle will cost varium.

rayniedays56 -> RE: character styles (7/27/2012 19:35:34)

Color changing really isn't that pricey :)

Hairstyles, however, SHOULD be credit only. Make the var ones now be, I don't know, 500 credits in the future?

HEXZOS -> RE: character styles (7/29/2012 15:02:11)

I like your suggestion, because if you have your default style and by mistake the wrong in color and that you accepted the change of style is something wrong again have to pay again for the same style for only a small error and remember that some have little varium for those special styles

:)
