You know like evens suchs as Olympic Games 2012 instead of paying for the achievement why not give it out as a gift since it is an event?

then players would get rating points by doing nothing. and others fight hard to get it. so it would be unfair to those who work hard for achievements.

The whole point of achievements is that people earn them, one way or another. The Olympics, and quite a few other events we have achievements for, are actually all about participation. To get the achievement, you have to participate in the game and battle, and earn your achievement. It wouldn't mean anything if everyone in the game had it, if people have to earn it, and it rewards Rating Points, it means something, and that is why you have to earn it, as said in brief by the above! :)

Imo the whole achievment system needs a revamp as you really just do not do anything but battle or do missions for achievments.

Achievment is something you have to do different things for not like 50 1v1 or 25 2v2 for 1 and 30 for other and so on.There should be cheevos for win streaks, battles fought, missions done and such not in shop for battle tokens which can be obtained from missions or battles

^^^ Things like that is certainly are a consideration, it's just finding the time to make all those changes. Changes to allow those kind of achievements would take quite a while to make, so that does make it something that we can't say will be happening soon. The other thing is that if that we have to be careful with how many achievements we implements, since if we implement too many, when loading achievement pages, it would cause a large amount of lag, so we also have to consider that as well.
