@ above

so true

back to topic

well build copying is part of the game i guess. but yeah u gotta hate it when some1 copies ya build and other people say you copy that some1 instead.

Darkwing -> RE: Copying Builds! (10/9/2012 12:33:34)

players copy builds that have high winrate. that's why we have so many problems with OP builds. If They would hide skill-tree+ stats in battle, it would be hard to copy builds . You could only guess from what actions your enemy takes, but you would have to guess what stats your enemy has or in what he puts skill points.

JariTheMighty -> RE: Copying Builds! (10/9/2012 14:24:28)

Why does it bother you that some players copy builds? What's the harm in it? Not seeing the opponent's build would be much more of a problem than copycats.

And just like Oliver Bell said, I'd rather take it as a compliment than an insult/annoyance if someone copied my build. :)

Mimicry is the highest form of flattery

@arthropleura is absolutely right .

P.s This thread is absolutely ridiculous .. take a look at the number of strength abusing bounty hunters since 2010 .... it's exactly the same build hot being nerfed for what .. 2 years ?

^^ Almost 4. They just changed it a bit.

Going to lock this up, since it is not really a discussion and it has quite a chance of leading to flaming. The truth is, we cannot stop people from using other peoples builds, if someone copies your build be complimented that they think your build is worth using. Some people do struggle to find builds that work, and by them using your build since they have seen it works, you are actually helping them by offering them a solution. It is not something that can be stopped, since it would be a bit silly if we started punishing for it :) - so if you do not like it, sadly, you will just have to try and look on the bright side!
