OprahFTWFrey -> Gender Change (11/21/2012 17:33:10)

I chose a female character to fit my name "OprahFTWFrey". Now I wish I had made a male character. I'm sure that there are others in the same boat.

Mother1 -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 18:24:44)

Not supported. This could case many problems for players especially those with gender specific armor. Doing this would make the armor they have useless big time.

Rayman -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 18:28:19)

Supported, Why not?

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 18:44:24)

I would have a hard time having this implemented in the game... I think it would cause mass confusion x.x

OprahFTWFrey -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 18:51:33)

@Mother1 How about if when you change genders all of your gender specific armors also change to that new gender?
@LatinLover I forgot to mention that it should cost varium (Don't have a price in mind) so that people will most likely not change genders that much.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 19:05:25)

Why would you want to change gender in the first place :P Thats what I think many people would ask and I dont think it would make alot of sales, it would cause most of all trolling and tricking other people which deprives the Epicduel Community of its integrity and dignity

Mother1 -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 19:26:01)

@ Oprah

That is what mutating armor does. It changes when you changes class. however most of these armors are varium armors and the non varium ones are limited rare or rare and are sold out. Plus I would have to agree with Martini as well as it would cause problems even if it was a varium only feature.

Metallico -> RE: Gender Change (11/21/2012 19:30:57)

Supported...
Why not? Is their problem, they will obviously receive advices about gender change and they will have to buy new armor, is their response let them be happy

XapApp -> RE: Gender Change (11/22/2012 0:06:21)

Been suggested quite a few times before.
Gender Changer
Gender Change
Gender Change?
I, myself support this and agree with what Blaze the Aion Ender said in one of the previous threads.
quote:

It's a gender change in the game
It's a video game, what does it matter what your gender is?
We all kill one another either way, what is wrong with this idea?
Really nothing

SCAR -> RE: Gender Change (11/22/2012 11:19:38)

Great Idea! We can all invite more pedos in this game, and more guys going on a female account to beg for varium. But serious, not supported.

Lycus -> RE: Gender Change (11/22/2012 15:30:59)

Since this has been suggested many times and is on the frequently suggested suggestions list I am going to lock this up.

I will comment also though - We have talked about this before, and we would be willing to implement it quite possibly, though, it does come with quite a big issue. First thing is the fact that it may cause confusion etc. as has been mentioned.

Second thing also has been mentioned, the fact that it would cause a lot of Gender specific armour problems. Now I know it is very easy to say 'just have it switch over'... Trust me, we wish it was that simple. Sadly though mutating armours and normal armours are very different in the fact that mutating armours are classed as one armour in the database that has all the art in that structure, allowing it to simply load the knew art from the same place each time you class change. However normal armours are completely separate, so if you were to change gender, it would have to remove one armour from your inventory and give you a completely separate one. Meaning every single armour in the game like that would have to be linked to another to be switched with, a brand new system made to support that, and a load of other things around that. Changing them all into mutating armours is very hard work aswell, if it is even possible. So that is the main issue with us introducing such a thing, and we need to look at that when we have time, before we can consider introducing such a thing!

Thank you for the suggestion though!
