Midnightsoul -> Soldier Class? (1/3/2013 1:31:02)

Ok, I know some of you might not support because there are other classes to fix, but I had a rough idea of like a universal class that can use ALL weapons. You might disagree first but looking at the skill tree might change ur mind.

Soldier Class:

Field Medic- Hybrid Armor -Frenzy
l l l
Rejuvenate* Stun Grenade Double Strike
/ l l
Bunker Buster EMP Grenade Multi-Shot
l / l
Surgical Strike Deadly Aim Assimilation

Yes, EMP and Assimilation...ik. I am conscious that I put those two there but think about what a soldier is like, it needs a way to get a little energy.

*Remove a portion of the debuff onto urself or an ally(depends on skill lvl from 16 energy step 1)
Increases any buff on you by 10%
lvl 1: 15%
lvl 2: 22%
lvl 3: 29%
lvl 4: 36%
lvl 5: 43%
lvl 6: 50%
lvl 7: 57%
lvl 8: 64%
lvl 9: 71%
MAX: 78%

Basically like the original Assault Bot, but costs energy. Sorry if I made a new class, just felt like getting creative.

You have a good idea, the one factor chaining the class idea down is the concept of "overlapping skills". Any skills besides a universal skill (Field Medic) should be totally new and non-existent. This means you have to invent 10 more skills besides Rejuvenate. Good wishes to you.

@Depressed Void: I have around 50 new skills already designed, skills are very easy to make. Don't bother putting numbers with created skills though, they're irelevant, as they'll get rebalanced if accepted anyways.

probably the skill i want to see the most is Spark Blitz on the blood mage, which was a version of double strike (to replace bludgeon) that deals energy on the first hit and physical on the second.

This. Numbers are good to illustrate your idea but concept is what matters.

Spark Blitz.. I wouldn't mind that replacing Bludgeon, would get rather handy every now and then and be sorta nerf-buff actually depending on how you look at it.

Average -> RE: Soldier Class? (1/3/2013 15:31:24)

Seems like a fairly balanced class, but would there be two others to go along with it, or would it be individual?

And I really like the Spark Blitz idea Xendran has.
