I'm just wondering. I myself also find it rather kind of annoying that Omega hasn't been released yet.

It seems that people get very frustrated when the Dev's can't make the deadline they put.
Personally I think that what matters is that the release will come. I myself find it more effective if the Design Notes were used to show us what they are actually Designing.
Time is only in perspective. What do you guys think?

Would you prefer the Dev's keep posting release dates (with the unfornate possibility that they can't make the deadline), or would you rather keep updated on what the Dev's are designing or in what phase of development they are?

I would prefer to get notified on their progress rather then to get a chance of false hope with another post of Date. For Example: I wouldn't mind seeing a screenshot of a Coding screen or an occasional photo of the secret headquarters with incredibly tired developers.

I agree that it is more about keeping the players informed than the actual update. To be honest I'd be fine with it being delayed 2 extra months, as long as they kept us intrigued by DNS and pictures on Twitter.

I am absolutely interested in seeing as many previews as possible.

I was never interested in precise release date commitments.

I'd love it if the design notes where used to show us what they are currently designing, not just what they have finished designing, perhaps even a video or two like titan did in the old days.

Keep in mind they want us excited and not complaining about things they cut or changed from the DNs as we did in Gamma.

@above if they told us everything, omega wouldn't be much of a surprise would it. so many people who has lack of patience, time goes by very quickly, so it won't be long till omega comes if you do other stuff, unless......you are sitting infront of the screen counting every second till omega releases.
