Yup, that's right, a Feb contest running in AQW where 1 lucky player gest a chance to choose any one of the item(weapons, pets, armors etc) that is gone rare.

I am sure some you guys who playing AQW are aware of this contest.

So what do you guys think, should ED also have such a contest??(Obviously after Omega that is) An awesome way to get things/items that you missed out in past :D

(Alpha and Founder items not included)

And what if you were chosen as the winner, what is that "ONE" item you would like to revive/posses/have??

I would like to Posses Bunnyzooka :D

I think ED shouldn't have this kind of event.

But if there was, I would probably choose one of the Alpha items.

ED's got only handful of mods while AQW has a plethora of mods. Which is why this wouldn't work out too well[:(] But I do want to see more contests in ED!

SOul: But that's not how it works. You can't just say "founder items not included". If a staff member was willing to offer one up from their own stashes, it would be an entirely legitimate choice.

Nevertheless, I don't really see that big of a point. There are far, FAR less gear to begin with when compared to AQW's hundreds and thousands of rares, so the potential items would be very severely limited. Granted, I don't see much harm in it, since for a fair majority, after Omega launches, your gear seems to be mostly for the looks (With the exception of locked cores, that is).

Founder items r exclusively meant for founders and cannot be given to any other player, in any kind of contest.

I think even Alpha items must be included with the founders items.

That's seasonal rare, if you got varium, then you can have it ... Though its your choose, so you can have any :)

SOuL: Again, not how the contest works. For example, Alpha Pirate is only for players who were in the Alpha of AQW. There are Alpha Pirates among the items you can get from these. (6, in fact) Or some of the DragonCon pets, only for people that attended the DragonCon of that year.

It's not about what the item is. It's about what the Mods are willing to give from their own personal inventories. Obviously, if none of them is willing to part the Founder gear, either because they just don't want to, or because they think it wouldn't be right, they won't be available. If they do, it would be.

Rare means that it will never come back so such a contest makes no sense to me.

That's the sense of this contest...

And btw, it's not that the rare item "comes back", but it transfers from an account to another, manually.

Ya that is true, only Dev's can decide, but its been more than 2 years,(Me playing ED) and i can pretty much understand Dev's. They would not like to give away such items(especially founders items, to avoid confusion, accusing and questions)

Anyways, if they wish to give, "Trust me" i have no prob :)

It can be over 10 years, it doesn't matter. They wouldn't give them away? From personal characters, maybe yes since why not? It's their game in the end. Confusion, accusing and questions? That contest would be known by everyone. If they'd get reported, no ban would occur since it was a contest award. Don't see your point there. As long as they give a rare - no matter what it is - then it's fine.

( not to mini-mod but remember guys gotta keep this a discussion not just a list ^ )

I would probably choose either the bunnyzookas or the stun guns sense those are the two perma-rares that I missed out on and dread doing so
bunny zookas cause they flat out look amazing and stun guns because of that small chance for stuns that they possess.

I could have bought the stun guns, rixty, bunnyzooka's, but the prices went HETIC! they almost doubled.. Rixty was overpriced and if they said in omega you could level items up, I would have bought the level 25 one.. DAM you Epicduel Mods!
