Old strike animation (Full Version)

Bring back the old Strike animation (the one throwing the weapon high in the air, catching it and then striking) among the current two animations. It looked pretty cool.

For those who do not know how it looked like, click here to see an early Beta clip.

Veneeria suggested that this animation could be the graphical part of a core ability that uses a strike.

Depressed Void suggested that the animation could be part of some graphical enhancements that should be switched on/off in the menu.

I support this it does look cool. Heck I would like to see the old stun brought back as well since the sleep bubbles look cool as well.

Most animations got changed with something new so that it removed lag. It isn't needed right now, there should be some new ones coming up. There was a DNs about new animations but I don't know much about when they will be here.

I'm pretty sure this can be achieved by tweaking the animation itself and cutting frames for lower quality settings.
Since Epicduel will be focused on design quality more than it was before - see the rework of the basic armors and the improved interfaces - I think bringing back this cool-looking animation is worth taking into account.

Instead of changing the current animation, why not suggest it as a core for an striking skill? [&:] I mean, not all might agree with the change, so this way it would be .. kinda a win-win situation.

Not too long ago, it used to throw the primary weapon up high in the air, shoot the sidearm, then catch the weapon. I haven't seen that one for a while either and it was a good one too.

Reflex Boost, Field Commander, Tactics, and Technician were all pulsing sigils on the ground.

I remember on my first account (fire lord blaze) the old strike animation

I liked it so much more than our current one, it was so much more EPIC

Awesome. Just awesome. The most memorable animation I remembered when I was a TM in Beta, the gun animation. It's when you throw your staff in the air, shoot your opponent, then your staff falls down. You catch it.

^Now that I think of it, all of the energy attacks back then had a lot more of the energized affect and many Skills were bloody O.O

Just realized the Strike for club was also different. Only remembered the staff lol.

And Atom Smasher also had a lot more Energy stuff
