Well I personally would go for it, since it's a one time fee anyway. And it helps alot for leveling up.

oh i know its happened, and i know in the past they left op items in to the people that had them, dragonfable accidentally put out an admin only weapon at one point... so anyways yeah there is no cut and dry situation, and i can personally promise id never pay another cent into it, temptation or not

I encountered Shadow Acolyte from walking around, i'd say keep travelling to the boss and hope you get lucky beating it. You may even come across Burn Mage [:)]

I've been hitting the explore button alot without encountering Burn Mage e_e I might have been unlucky though I guess.

Well, I possessed a maggot and burn mage. Got my barbarian to level 17 and tried lich again. Couldn't get him in 3 tries. Gonna try virgil again and then call it a night.
